This restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining. The kitchen is an open kitchen, with a heavy duty suction fan. The place is jumping, lots of patrons, with families go there. Childrens' menu. It is a seafood restaurant. It has an open bar as well. Very basic decoration, I think it must be southern hospitality, there is no table cloth, no... More

Hubby had falling off the bone tender ribs, I had grouper basket. He really liked his, mine was fine but not amazing. Lots of testing, bar in the center of the restaurant.

Came here for some apps and drinks with my mom and sister. Was surprised there were no cocktails on the menu. The food came quick and the service was fantastic. A couple old hens were sitting next to us and thought it was a joke when the waitress brought plastic silverware for them to use. The waitress did politely bring... More

Great fresh seafood - the fresh oysters on the half shell were huge and the best on the island. The mesquite grouper was out of this world. We went there more then once because it was so good.

Ate here at Christmas time and don't think I've ever seen so many inflatable xmas decorations in one place. Really fun! Restaurant was super busy and we were looking at least a 30 minute wait, but the fabulous hostess had us seated after only 10 minutes. Food was good, but if you want healthy, don't eat here. Lots of yummy... More

Must have: 1/2 and 1/2 chowder; teri hot wings (cooked extra crispy); a combo pot lightly steamed; mesquite grilled grouper; Caesar salad and pitchers and pitchers of beers! Can't say enough about the great service, fun atmosphere and tasty food at the Lazy.

OK... why do I love the Lazy Flamingo? Four words: great food, great service. If you get to the LF before 5:00 you can probably just sit down and eat right away. If you get there later and/or the island is crowded, there is a small patio outside the front door where you can relax and enjoy a drink (or... More

This is the new location for Lazy Flamingo. This location has table service and the same great menu as the location in Santiva. Great place to stop for something quick or to lounge around a drink in the outside seating area. My favorite is the peel and eat shrimp.

Restaurant for local people in Sanibel. Really quality food for normal prices. Try grouper fish grilled and the shrimps steamed on beer. Oyster were also top: fresh and tasty

Whenever I am in the Ft. Myers area, I always go to the Lazy Flamingo for their grouper sandwich. It is the best I have had anywhere in the area. The fish is seasoned to perfection and cooked just right - never too dry. I have always had good service and love the atmosphere.
