The Sanibel Cafe is nicely located in a small shopping center, an incentive for us guy types to accompany our better halves. For brunch, I had a ham and cheese omelette, my wife had a couple eggs over easy. The omelette was full of ham, tasty, the hash browns were good and the home-made (or rather, cafe-made) red raspberry preserves... More

So glad I remembered looking at Trip Advisor for breakfast places. Went here 3 days in a row while on the island and had the French Toast each time...yeah, it was that good. Looks like normal French Toast, but there was something about it that just made it the best I've had. Very friendly cafe, the servers actually seemed to... More

We come to this cafe for a great breakfast every year. The food is fresh, plentiful, great tasting and inexpensive. It is also located in our favorite strip mall for shopping, so we usually make this a family adventure. We bring two cars, eat a great breakfast with the non-shoppers returning to the hotel in one car while the rest... More

My husband loves to go out to breakfast, me, not so much. I don't like eggs and don't drink milk so my options are always limited. We went to the Sanibel Cafe and I look at the top of the menu which says I can get lunch all day. So my husband gets a great Denver omelette and I get... More

After reading Trip Advisor Reviews, we tried this cute little cafe for breakfast. My parents each had a variation of coconut French Toast. My father tried the Pina Colada version which came with an orange and pineapple sauce. That sauce was amazing. I had pancakes and an egg. They were good, but not quite as good as they looked. The... We went there for breakfast. There is nothing fancy here and is more diner style. But the service and food is fine. No frills, but good and fast service. It was breakfast, what else does one need. Oh, yeah/ They had great coffee.

My wife wanted lunch; I wanted breakfast. Not all Sanibel restaurants can accommodate that simple problem, but Sanibel Cafe does. My pancakes were outstanding, as was the crisp side of bacon. My wife's vegetable panini was excellent and came with a generous order of crisp french fries. The service was wonderful throughout. We've enjoyed dining here for more than 30... More

Stumbled upon the Sanibel Cafe...seems like maybe a family cafe? Really good food and loved the shell decorated tables. Would go again. Husband loved the food, too.

Great breakfast, friendly service, and super clean. I love the beachy theme and all the cute signs. The tables are super cool, the lots of sea shells 🐚 in them. Don't let the fact that it is in a strip mall fool you it is a great breakfast stop. I don't normally give a 5 rating but the cleanliness factor... More
