I have visited this store many times since it has opened. It is so charming, and you can get fresh food and drinks to eat and people watch.

Way back when, there was an idea, and the idea was good. A planned community by the sea,and Mr. Modica opened a little market to serve the local residents. It has grown into a legendary deli/market/hangout and is the anchor of the Seaside merchant row. You just have to go there,no words can describe it.

This very unassuming spot sells house made crab cakes, but only on Saturday afternoon. These are seriously the best crab cakes I've had, anywhere!

Pros of this market are the convenient location if you're staying in Seaside. They have the basics, plus plenty of Gluten free items for sale too. However, they are a bit pricey. The Publix in the watercolor crossing is about a 5 min drive and much more affordable.

The first day we visited the market we had a couple of cookies and they were very good. But I had my eye on the Almond Joy cake and the next day we bought a slice. It was absolutely delicious!! And it was such a generous size that we had 6 servings. Although it was SO good we could have... More

Limited but nice selection of goods and a good selection of wines. The bakery selection in the morning is actually very good. Very friendly checkout people. If you need something simple but don't want to drive to Publix Modica is a great option. They also have a very nice selection of sauces to cook with

Grab a waffle and take a quick walk across the street to the beach pavilion. Best view in town plus the most affordable delicious breakfast in town. They even give you a tray to carry it on.

This has become one of our "musts" when we go to this area. There are interesting foods in the deli, and anything you ever thought of. The muffins and breakfast foods for sale are our favorites and high on our list of things to do and places to go. We never miss shopping here!

Looking for a quick meal, they have ready made sandwiches, desserts, and sides. Lots of unusual as well as usual items in this store. Its fun just to look and image what you can cook with these items. They do offer limited fresh produce, ice cream, milk and other beverages, and some household needs. Worth a look around and try... We stopped in as part of exploring Seaside and sites where The Truman Show was filmed. We found the ladder here from the movie. Staff was friendly and the Deli counter was popular and busy.

Description
This little gourmet market is worthy a leisurely visit or a stop if you'd like to pack a picnic. Several wonderful items, really nice breads, pastries, cheeses, teas, wine etc. A nice place to visit and browse for unique items. Tables outside if you would like to make a casual lunch of deli type foods. Yum, yum. Seaside has a wonderful atmosphere, on the Emerald Coast to add to the experience. Not for the bargain hunter, but everything we bought was worth the price.
