Food was prepared and presented most excellently and the service was attentive and friendly. We were enticed by a Groupon but will return full-price.

Excellent menu. Small selection of wine. Only one choice of beer. No desserts this night. They had a big party the day before and all their desserts were eaten. We all got something different. All the food was freshly prepared. Several specials for the night also.

We were told of this restaurant from someone when we visited Selby Gardens and they recommended Inkanto for authentic Peruvian cuisine. The wine selection was great, all South American, a number of interesting appetizers, the dinner was excellent, and desert and coffee finished the meal off. The people were very friendly and helpful in explaining the dinner choices and everything... More

This was our first encounter with authentic Peruvian cuisine and we were very highly impressed. We were very warmly yet professionally received by a Peruvian gentleman who I assume is the owner /director of the place. He explained menu entries very clearly and accurately ... you'd think he cooked the food himself. Food was very well presented and. VERY tasty.... More

I'm happy to give this restaurant a 5-star rating on my first visit. The genuine Peruvian food was delicious. I didn't know that potatoes originated in Peru, which has 4,000 varieties, according to our waiter! So potatoes figure prominently in several dishes. Also had the delicious ice cream made with a Peruvian fruit. Our waiter was very attentive and patient... More

If you want the real deal and not some fusion, Americanized or interpreted cuisine, this is the place to go. They have a lot of the local ingredients shipped in and you can taste the difference in each dish. We had ceviche (excellent), causa (very good), lomo saltado (excellent) and tres leches (amazing). Give this delicious and authentic restaurant a... More

My daughter is a Peruvian-ofile, if that's a word, and a foodie as well. After a recent stay with two different Peruvian families in Lima, she returned with a desire to stay close to the real food of Peru. We thought that it would be a tall order for Sarasota, however, we found it at Inkanto!! The food is flown... More

Four of us ate dinner here tonight. We ordered two appetizers and four different entrees. I had beef, one friend had shrimp and rice, one had the nights special chicken and rice while the last one ordered mussels, shrimp and calamari. All were delicious...everyone agreed my beef, onions and peppers was the best!

Went with a few friends for dinner on a Thursday night in July. I was on vacation for the first time in Sarasota and wanted to try something different. I've only had peruvian food once at a restaurant in Raleigh, but this place was by far the best Peruvian food I've ever had. The server went out of his way... More
