Bad attitude all around for just a simple carryout. Called in. Greeted with, "Whaddya Want?" Typically, we overlook this slap (on top of poor parking, odd menu, etc.) but tonight was worse than usual especially with season being over.

The food is below average for this type of place but prices are in line with other BBQ places. Ribs were quite fatty especially the ribs served under the all you can eat choice. In fact, there was much more fat than meat on the ribs. No wonder they offer all you can eat, after the first taste, you do not... More

We did take out the other night for ribs and beef sandwich, fries, beans, and mac n cheese. They were all good.

We have tried several BBQ restaurants in the Sarasota Bradenton area and this is the best we have experienced. It is a little bit of a hole in the wall appearance and has a down home feel to it. Not much for ambiance, but what the heck, it's a BBQ spot.

The ribs were great, very tender. So was the pulled pork. The BBQ beans were the way I prefer them, probably with brown sugar and molasses rather the Texas style. The sides are pretty standard. Apple sauce is apple sauce. We got PLENTY of food, in fact we had so much leftover we had another meal the second night, and... More

This is an out of the way restaurant but what a great find. Open air, Tiki bar restaurant, with really good smoked food. I had the sampler with brisket, ribs and smoked chicken. Loved the brisket and smoked chicken, tasted the pulled pork and all were delicious, the ribs were not my favorite. However the baked beans were awesome. Great... More

Unfancy old Floorida setting. ribs are the large 7" type perfectly slow cooked and meaty. Several BBQ sauces to choose from. Chicken and fish are also excellent. Try a combo for about 12.95 with 2 sides. Quality-Service-Price, hard to beat. Tap beer under $3.00

The food here used to be of good quality. It has really gone down hill over the last couple of years.

Had the pulled pork and chicken combo. Everything tasted the same. The pulled pork tasted old. Definitely not fresh. The chicken tasted like fish. The mac n cheese was ok as was the fries. The sweat tea was average. Garlic toast was good.

What a throwback! Very kitschy...alligator hide hanging on the wall, old fashioned counter service. Nothing fancy, just great prices and good ol" BBQ. Portion sizes were good, several sauce choices and sides. Had a large pulled pork sandwich for under $6. Also tried the pork ribs. Very meaty and tender. Very, very casual!!!!!
