We went to Avenue Eat and Drink for dinner after a day of long meetings. We did not know what to expect and all of us were impressed. The duck was superb! I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.

I thought I was going to a wine bar, but their wine selection is very limited and the seafood in the dish I ordered tasted old. The bartender Stephen was excellent and that is the only reason they place received 3 stars.

Menu pricey and food just average. My entree arrived with cold rice. Waiter brought me a second serving of rice and while it was hot the taste was nothing spectacular and it was gummy. My son ordered a rib-eye steak but received a NY strip. Waiter returned with rib-eye but it was RAW - not medium rare. At this point,... More

We stayed at the hotel right next door and were looking for a close place to dine. The front desk recommended Avenue. I'm glad they did. The staff was very good. The food was excellent. The night we were visited, there was a large group sitting close to us. So loud it sounded like a frat party.

Wonderful experience for brunch. Service started rocky but I think that was because the hostess double sat our server. After drink orders everything went smoothly and they went beyond the expected service. No gluten free menu but a very adaptable menu. The shrimp and grits were delicious. The grits were just a tad under seasoned. But the shrimp were delish.... More

We headed to Avenue for Sunday brunch. We had the eggs Benedict, eggs and asparagus and short ribs and hash. They were a little slow getting the good out but it was very good upscale breakfast.

Don't expect happy hour specials for food and drink or a wide selection of draft beers. My salad with seared tuna was good.

Surprising food. Not cheap, little high, but worth it. Resturant tucked away in the middle of downtown. Ambiance is intimate. Many desserts are for two.

We ate brunch on Saturday before leaving our daughter for her freshman year and wanted a special last meal. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the menu looked great. The waiter told us he was brewing fresh coffee. My first cup was Lukewarm. The second cup was hotter. I ordered the cornmeal pancakes that were supposed to come with a... More
