I was in Tampa for the AIRS Conference and was staying at the Marriott waterside hotel. This place was just a short 8 minute walk down the river walk. Great choice. Food was great. Location was great. We had a group of 8 and was sat within 10 minutes. Their menu is pretty basic but some great choices. They also... More

A nice surprise as much better than I had expected. I'm always a bit cautious of places in a touristy area but food quite good and sangria also very good. If possible I would suggest sitting outside and get a good feel for the ambience.

Didn't have the food here but they have a good patio and drinks menu and do very good mojitos. One of their locations is along the riverwalk with a good view of the harbour.

Looked forward to eating here and was disappointed with the some of the food. I have had better Cuban food and unfortunately would not eat here again. Some food came out very hot while other food was cold. There was not enough staff and our waiter had too many costumers and did the best he could.

If your visiting the riverwalk in Tampa, a visit to this restaurant is a must for a hungry family, or a gathering of friends. The food is delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is very charming. The service was spot on. The only drawbacks I could name, is when its a hot muggy day, its a hot muggy restaurant. They do... More

It's the Cliff Note version of the true Columbia restaurant. The menu is simple and doesn't have all the great entree's served at the full restaurant locations. The location is great as it is within walking distance to Amalie Arena and Channel Side. The food is good and so is the service. Very consistent with main restaurants.

We came here for lunch and we were amazed with the Riverwalk area! This restaurant is right on the Riverwalk and a nice spot to sit outside! The 1905 salad had wonderful flavor and we loved our Cuban sandwiches. We had the key lime pie to end our meal and it was nice and refreshing! Check out this great spot!

The view of the river makes this a great location! Then you add the food of the popular Columbia Restaurant and you have a winner! The food is Cuban/Spanish inspired but also a selection that will please any palette. Enjoy!

I had lunch here on a Tuesday. The outdoor seating provides a good view of the marina and bay. Our waiter was fast, polite and knowledgeable. I ordered the Half & Half (half Cuban sandwich/half Cuban salad). Both were amazing. The salad light and refreshing and prepared right at the table. A great lunch spot where I will dine again!

I am very familiar with the Columbia in Ybor and knew this another of their venues. The atmosphere and location are wonderful. Sitting outside overlooking the water with the nice breeze was so enjoyable. The food is the BEST and the Sangria is a MUST!!! Now one of my favorite spots in Tampa to eat!!

Enjoy waterfront drinks, tapas and our delicious Spanish/Cuban cuisine at the Columbia Cafe in the Tampa Bay History Center on the Tampa Riverwalk. The Cafe proudly serves locally brewed craft beers on tap. We offer a full bar, and serve lunch and dinner daily. Live music Friday and Saturday nights on our outdoor, canopy covered waterfront patio bar. Located next to the Amalie Arena, and walking distance along the Tampa Riverwalk from the Marriott Waterside Hotel, Embassy Suites, the Florida Aquarium and the Tampa Convention Center. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Guests can dine inside at a scaled-down version of the original mahogany bar at our sister restaurant, the Columbia in Tampa's historic Ybor City, built more than a century ago in 1905 by the Brunswick Company. If you're boating, we invite you to dock at Garrison Channel outside the Tampa Bay History Center at one of eight tie-ups.
