This is a small restaurant in a random strip mall that you could easily pass by - but you shouldn't. It's a BYOB with a $5 corking fee. The food is very good, homemade style Italian and they do rotating regional specials as well. We loved the deep friend cauliflower and the gnocchi! And the desserts are delicious and small... More

There should be a line out the front door every night of the week at Trattoria Pasquale. It is just an amazing little family place that serves the best Italian food in the area. It has an old school feel when the Chief comes out of the kitchen, sits down with you and ask you how your meal was. The... More

An overall disappointing experience from the food to the service. Our first time here and our last. First, they serve no wine here and how an Italian restaurant does not serve wine is beyond me. The calamari appetizer was overcooked, salty and the pieces were so small to pea size, clearly they were at the end of the bag and... More

This is a tiny restaurant with a great reputation BUT the best part of this visit was the wine and it was BYOB! Our appetizers calamari was good, but he the entrees of veal parmigiana and lasagna were over cooked, over sauced, and mushy. The service continues to be outstanding and the Italian origins of dishes and ingredients exceptional.

Come here for Northern Italian cooked by Luigi and staff. The chalkboard menu deserves your full attention. Byob! They provide the glasses, you provide the drink! See Luigi's travel slide show on the monitor and be the armchair traveller and gourmand through Northern Italy

Excellent food. Very professional. Great staff. They cook when you order and the wait is reasonable. Small restaurant must make reservation but it is worth it. The owner and Chef likes to speak with the visitors.

Description
Trattoria Pasquale is a quaint little Italian restaurant located in South Tampa. Luigi Cavallaro, owner & chef, was born and raised in Bolzano, Italy. He attended culinary school at Merano, Italy. Luigi moved to his wife's hometown of Tampa in 1997 when he started "Luigi's Catering". After 12 years of quality service in the Tampa Bay area he decided to open Trattoria Pasquale (named after his father). We hope you feel like family when you visit our restaurant. Buon Appetito!

BIG NIGHT at Trattoria Pasqaule is an Italian dining experience like none other in Tampa. Each month, we feature a different region of Italy and highlight its food and culture by offering a region specific 7 course meal. These regional courses are described in detail once they are served and they come with "an ample side of history." BIG NIGHT is a time to experience a new and rich culture amongst new and old friends.
