We ate at restaurant awaiting our flight. We had Chicken and Rice Ybor and Chicken Salteado. Food was decent but not exceptional. Service was great, attentive and pleasant. Nothing special about the experience but not bad either.

I had breakfast here. The Spanish omelette (tortilla Espagne) was Great. Serve was fast. And best of all, the meal and coffee was delicious!

If you're familiar with Columbia Restaurants - same menu with a few exclusions!! You can't go wrong with Columbia's signature salad!! We had Sangria's -- not as good as we have had at other Columbia's. Service was ok!! Although it was very busy!!

Not many choices at the end of the concourse, but if you are adventurous try the Columbia Cafe. The Ropa Veija is seasoned just right not to hot. Try the combo of Salad and Cuban Sandwich.

Florida mojito's are fk'n delicious. Old cubano hooked it up. Had a while to hangout in airport and needed a smooth sip after being at work. Only bar this side but was nice, decor good, staff nice n helpful. Beer taps ran out when I...More

Service was good, but the food was meh. My husband liked his Cuban sandwich, but found the plantain chips to be salty. I had the omelette with potato, chorizo, ham and onion and it was pretty flavourless, even adding hot sauce didn't improve the flavour....More

For being located in an airport the food was good. I had the mojo chicken which was a chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and food was surprisingly good.

Had a quick lunch here before getting on a Delta flight to Detroit. Just right for our needs. Hostess accommodated my wheelchair and we got pretty quick service. 1905 salad is a favorite and although it was not quite as well done as at a...More

Firstly, take this location of Columbia for what it is. It's an airport restaurant. We, as customers, are generally in a rush to get to our planes, as compared to visiting one of the actual Columbia restaurants, where you would generally want to take your...More

A little different than your typical airport restaurant by offering a little taste of Columbia. Full bar with in door and "outdoor" (in wide walkway) and bar seating. Latin music. Helpful servers. Nice value for airport fare. $$

Must go through the security at TSA. However Columbia does have two other locations. One is down by the waterfront and the other is their original located in Ybor City.

Description
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily, offering family recipes that have made the Columbia famous for over a century, like the Original Tampa Cuban Sandwich (proclaimed by Tampa's City Council as the City's "Signature Sandwich"), steaming hot bowls of Spanish Bean Soup and Cuban Black Bean Soup, and the too good to miss, Original "1905" Salad(R), named "One of the 10 Best Salads to Make a Meal Out Of" by USA Today. Other menu favorites include Miranda's Ybor City Devil Crab Croquettes, Chicken and Yellow Rice "Ybor" and Picadillo "Criollo." Breakfast choices include Eggs Malaguena, Tortilla Espanola, Torreja's and the Ybor City standard breakfast of Cafe con Leche and Cuban toast. The original Columbia Restaurant was founded in Tampa's Historic Ybor City in 1905 by Cuban immigrant Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. It began as a 60-seat corner cafe known for its Cuban coffee and authentic Cuban sandwiches, frequented by the local cigar workers. Today The Columbia is Florida's Oldest RestaurantSM. Inside the Columbia Restaurant Cafe at Tampa International Airport, customers can dine at a scaled version of the original Brunswick bar, built over a century ago at Columbia Ybor City. A full bar is available. Serving Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner daily. Please see our website for the most current menu.
