Historians and foodies will devour the setting and servings at this landmark. We enjoyed looking at the detailed design around the room as much as we enjoyed pouring over the menu. Our dad had never had Spanish cuisine before and was truly impressed with everything about it. Great parking, wonderful service, amazing decor.

A historical family restaurant in Tampa. A restaurant with character. The "1905 Salad " is a must order. I order it every time I go. It is so delicious I will have it as my entree sometimes. The chicken croquettes melt in your mouth. The white sangria is refreshing. The flan is delicate and tasty.

Everything is carefully prepared using fresh ingredients and time tested recipes. Don't miss the 1905 salad but you better order the small. The full size is enough for two! Prepared table side. The Caldo Gallego soup is outstanding as are the fish dishes. I feel it's reasonably priced given the quality of the food. And, the service is friendly and... More

I've been to this restaurant many times and it is always superb. Make sure that you get the house salad and their seafood is tops.

Other places just wish they had an atmosphere like The Columbia, sat in the Flamenco room and had a Mojito. Great food in a historic location

We went here for an after work team building night of fun. The food was AMAZING, so many delicious choices. All very fresh, beautifully served. The service was impeccable even with our large crowd of about 18 adults. We had 2 or 3 dedicated servers. But the absolute best part was the show!!!! I cannot say enough about the performers... This location, in the heart of Ybor City is an historical gem! The legendary chopped salad is a tasty way to start of your meal, and it's huge, so share it with a friend! I like to get a round booth here with friends of family. It's cozy and yet a bit more private feeling and off to the side... More

We were entertaining out of town guests and one of their wishes was to visit The Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. My husband and I have been a few times, however, it has been quite a while since we'd been. We took our friends and everything was amazing. We had made a reservation through Open Table for 12:30, however, we... More

Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Serving lunch and dinner daily. Reservations accepted. Children's menu available. In addition to award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine, Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City features Flamenco dance performances nightly, Monday - Saturday. There is no show on Sunday. The Café offers live jazz Tuesday through Saturday. The Hernandez Gonzmart family has been making restaurant history since 1905 when they opened their landmark Columbia Restaurant in Tampa's Historic Ybor City, which today is Florida's Oldest RestaurantSM. Today, 4th & 5th generation family members work hard to preserve the family's legacy that their great-grandfather Casimiro Hernandez, Sr. created over 112 years ago when he opened the Columbia as a corner café frequented by local cigar workers. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Our guests enjoy many of the same century-old family recipes that have made the Columbia famous like Paella "a la Valenciana," Snapper "Alicante" Pompano en Papillot, The Original Cuban Sandwich, and Filet Mignon "Columbia". Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy an ice cold pitcher of Sangria or Mojitos, or sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo from our award-winning wine list.
