If you go here I would recommend apps/drinks outside. They have a good view. Positive - attentive staff, good location on the water and food is decent. Negative - it looks like a cafeteria in Disney inside. It was dirty, at least when I went. The food is not deserving of the price. Oysters - $4/each and too small Hanachi... More

Came here for a celebration lunch and it was wonderful. Sat outside with a beautiful view of the water. Service was good as was the food.

This place is definitely a 5 star restaurant! Dinner was amazing and I've also been to brunch here which is really incredible. If you're looking for a really nice place to go for a special occasion, this is it!

My wife had been here once as a guest of one of her bosses. She had told us how amazing it was and decided on it for her birthday meal. The two of us and our two high school age daughters. She had bragged and told us how good it was but we were not prepared just how outstanding this... More

This once outstanding buffet is merely a shell of what was once a great venue. The view is still great; the food isn't. The carving station offered only ham. The "hot" selections were mundane with none of the former upscale entres that used to populate the board. The other main offering were equally not impressive. The omelette selections were fine.... Top of the line place to eat at the Grand Hyatt. The drinks were well made and the service was top shelf. The oysters and fish was very fresh and well prepared.

The food is excellent and served with professional elegance. Although it is a bit pricey, the setting view and ambience is worth it. A must for a romantic dinner at sunset.

We thought we picked one of the best fine dining seafood restaurant in Tampa and we were so disappointed. The food was so salty I almost had a sodium attack. We forced ourselves to eat the fish and lobster tail bit left the lobster Mac & cheese pretty well untouched. And the waitress didn't even ask us why we didn't... More

My wife and I were in the Tampa Bay area for a getaway weekend to see a concert and was looking for a good Sunday brunch. I pulsed my FB friends in the Bay Area and the consensus was Oystercatchers. We went without a reservation and my wife sweet talked the hostess to get us right at 11am without having... More

Success has its privileges and obligations, like accommodating walk ins. We'll forget that. Promised a two hour wait, asked to check out eating at the bar, came back to the desk only to be told no more names on the wait list. They walked us. Not pleasant, not easy to reach, had to un valet the car after a ten... More
