Part of the bad experience was our fault. We didn't ask for a different table when they seated us between the kitchen door and 2 huge booths right behind us. The waiters had to squeeze past us to get to the booths. Didn't get bumped but felt like I need to to duck each time the severs went past. We... More

Had dinner with family last night. We all enjoyed our dinner -crab cake, salmon, and mahi mahi. Restaurant was very crowded, but dinner was worth the wait. We really enjoyed it. Good place to go for a special occasion.

We used to boat down here during the summers in Sarasota and stop for lunch. This visit we opted for a sunset dinner and we were not disappointed. I had the seafood platter - shrimp, scallops and grouper - excellent. Both companions had the bouillabaisse- just wonderful. Desserts were key lime pie and a chocolate mousse plus vanilla ice cream.... More

Lunch with a friend, waited just a little while and got table by a window. Weather was iffy but really enjoyed our food and waitress' personality. Will go again.

This is a good place if you sit upstairs and get to stare at the intra coastal waterway. Everything tastes better when you are chilled out and enjoying the salt and sea beauty while someone brings you food and drink. Don't get me wrong we had a good time and enjoyed yakking with friends at reasonably spacious tables. As for... More

Went to Crow's nest on a Monday to avoid crowd. Easily took a seat at bar. Had several beers and wine before ordering fish tacos. The tacos had a good sauce but minimal fish. For the price three tacos should be served. The house salad was large enough for two and excellent. Bartender was friendly and attentive.

This restaurant was very busy but I really don't get the huge attraction. The food was okay but not great and very overpriced. The bread basket is a nice variety and comes with butter, spiced oil and humus. I ordered a cup of the tomato basil soup but it was a bisque with a sprinkle of basil. My meal was... More

Dropped by for a lunch . Lunch menu was quite varied and reasonable . Waitress was excellent . It was busy, but you didn't feel it and best of all there was little noise transfer . The best quality is their cleanliness . Often seaside or wharf side places can be a bit grubby but not this one. Parking might... More

We stay down here a couple of weeks with family in February and this is one of the top restaurant's in the area for seafood. The quality of food and service and the location right off the water make this place outstanding.

We came from Englewood to lunch with friends staying in Sarasota. Venice was packed for President's Day and so was the restaurant. Fortunately we had reservations and were able to park fairly close to the restaurant. We were seated immediately. Service was warm, courteous and prompt, especially considering the crowd. Our meals were all delicious and reasonably priced. We ate... More
