If that's what you're in the mood for, you won't be dissapointment. No frills local food. We bother had the country fried chicken... More

Highly recommended for breakfast by friends. Definitely worth the drive into town. So much better than the local competition!

Went there on a recommendation for a great brunch for $2.99. Entering the restaurant, nobody even acknowledged us to be seated, so we seated ourselves. (There were 2 other tables eating at the time.) Our server was a pretty Young lady, but her personality left a lot to be desired, she wasn't friendly at all. When asked what the $2.99... More

Six of us stopped to eat. Excellent service, and the food was good home style cooking. We had fried chicken dinners, Reuben sandwich, salads, soup, club sandwich, & open faced roast beef sandwich. The most tender beef ever. Everyone said what a great place it was including the food. Were an hour away but will return. Compliments to the chef!!

Good basic grub. Very filling. Good prices. Service was quick, food was hot. Huge portions! Ashes for a side sweet potatoe and received green beans and rice to boot!

4 friends went on a Wednesday afternoon for a nice dinner. Quaint atmosphere, great old house, like grandma's kitchen. Staff was friendly and fun. Salads crisp and cold, good dressing. 2 people ordered steaks and both were done as requested. Seasoning was perfect. The sauce on the Greek strip steak was phenomenal. Veggies were country cooked, and good. The fried... More
