As vegetarians, we rarely look out vegetarian restaurants, preferring to look for interesting options in regular eateries. Darbster is an exception. We have taken many non-vegetarian friends here and everyone loves it, especially if you can get one of the outside tables on the canal. Everything is made on the premises and the options are vast. Soups, salads, main course,... More

Here is what I love about Darbster: all the doggies hanging out with owners, all the animal rights activism, and the wait staff-- friendly and conscientious. Here is the low down on the food: Darbster's meals are delicious, if a bit on the heavy side - a lot of processed fake-meats mean you may leave feeling overly full. As a... More

We were staying in and did not want to drive to Jupiter for vegan fare. Darbster was the perfect spot. The cauliflower kale soup was just right and both our salads were well dressed and seasoned. We will be back to try out other menu items. The guitarist on this Wednesday night was exceptional.

I tried to go there this past weekend. Been here several times before since its vegan. Manager was the rudest guy I've met. Since there was a wait I wanted to order a few drinks as we were all thirsty. The manager told me no there is no time we are down one person. This was at the bar. Mind... More

We usually go to Darbster for lunch or dinner - this was the first time we were here for brunch, and it was excellent. Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating, and there was a guitarist playing music. My husband had the banana French toast, I had the chocolate chip pancakes, and friends had the tofu scramble. Everything was excellent, and portions... More

I've eaten here several times and liked it so thought it would be good to dine there with 6 relatives from out of town. We started with the Nachos, $10, Sausage Sliders, $9, and Caprese, $12. The nachos were delicious, a vegan rendition of your typical nachos and chips. A decent serving and all enjoyed. The sausage sliders, a new... More

The food was excellent, and the service was as well. Atmosphere was casual, relaxed, and dog friendly. I would have given this restaurant five stars if the portions had been a little larger. After I ate my $18 entree, I was still hungry, so I ordered an appetizer. Too pricey for the amount of food, but I am trying to... More

I love Darbster because I believe in their mission: To provide education and spay and neuter services for dogs and cats. That's the reason the restaurant exists in the first place. (see Darbster Foundation). Moreover, you can bring your pets to Darbster and relax. Relax amongst an indoor/outdoor garden environment where food (organic, vegan, yummy) is prepared with style, grace... More

Darbster is an unassuming place that you might miss. Don't. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is out of this world. As a vegan, going out loses a lot of its fun when I have to go where everyone else wants to. This time, I got to bring the meat-eaters out, and they, too, fell... More

Managed to find my way to the Darbster on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch/early supper and boy, am I glad I did! Sat outside on a small patio overlooking a canal, complete with wooden steps descending to the water and cool patio tables with comfy chairs to laze in. Bridget (who was so sweet!) was super attentive- and... More
