RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2017

Agora is not a stuffy place. When you enter the restaurant you feel as if you are in the Mediterranean. The owner greets you with all the warmth of a valued customer. Most of the recipes are his mother's recipes and she is in the kitchen cooking them. When you sit down you are served a shot glass of their... More

My husband and I ate here last night. We are big fans of Mediterranean food. They were very busy and went well out of their way to apologize for what was not a long wait for our food. We were seated immediately and appetizers came fast. Zucchini pancakes and warm hummus. Also complimentary pita and beet yogurt dip. All expertly... More

We lived in Turkey for 2 years and this is the real deal. Excellent lamb and Doner. Try the Iskender dish. Flat lamb (Adana kebab) was just like we remember. Sangria is not Turkish but was good anyway. Wish this restaurant was near where we live!

Very authentic turkish cuisine and delicious food cooked by the mother of the owner Semih and of course Semih, welcoming almost every customer and making their visit one of a kind. Really loved the food and its presentation. Don't forget to reserve your table ahead of time since it's open for dinner and is very popular. But I'm sure they... More

After a warm greeting from Server Iggi who brought shots of Sangria, we chose the Trilogy Malbec Wine from Argentina. We started with the Agora Signature Sampler ($28.95):: Imam Bayildi, 3 Dolma, 2 Spinach Delight, Piyaz, Braised Leeks with Dill Pickles, & Toasted Pita Bread. Fresh & flavorful. The $price was high, considering that the platter contained no meat. We... More

My husband had the lamb shank special and I had the Iskender. Both were absolutely amazing. We were served by Gary who was extremely helpful navigating the ethnic Turkish options and he is a great conversationalist too. We were seated by the owner, and had lovely seating outside. The cook (who I suspect was the mother) made perfectly cooked items.... More
