We love this place. It is one of the best Mediterranean/Turkish restaurants in the area. My favorite is the grilled octopus. You can never go wrong with any of the meat dishes , the lamb chops and the mixed grill are all cooked to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is into this kind of food. The... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 January 2017

Agora is not a stuffy place. When you enter the restaurant you feel as if you are in the Mediterranean. The owner greets you with all the warmth of a valued customer. Most of the recipes are his mother's recipes and she is in the kitchen cooking them. When you sit down you are served a shot glass of their... More

In the words of a great actor, "I'll be back." Best Mediterranean food I've had since leaving the Detroit area 5 years ago. I can't say enough about our waiter. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. I only had to look up and he was there to fulfill our wishes. The Baklava was excellent. So light and not too sweet.... More

Have been there 4 times and will return indefinitely. The food is prepared with such care and taste, Semih is a very gracious host and Gary the server a ball of fun :) Have tried many different dishes but the lamb chos and Beyti are my favorite :)

Even better than last year. We were sure to come back here the first night after arriving. Semih Arif was very welcoming and gracious, and he remembered us like old friends. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked, as well as the beef shish. Our server, Gary, was so funny and attentive. Everything was amazing and the service was prompt and... More

I called the restaurant two hours ahead of our arrival to make sure we would be seated quickly. They did sit us quickly, in a table smaller than those found in cafes and in a cramped corner. The server was surprisingly critical of how the place is managed and recommended we not get appetizers. The menu is confusing and lacks... More

I didn't really understand your last sentence. It seems as if you are discriminating against all Turkish food. Maybe you don't share the same opinion as the 99% of our customers, but our fresh, daily and healthy food has made us #1 restaurant in Palm Beach County. We are very proud and confident about our food but we also understand... More

One of the members of our party of four had heard about Agora and wanted to try it. I looked it up and was immediately intrigued as I am of Syrian descent and this was basically Turkish cuisine. I looked up the menu and (thanks to Google) was even more eager to go and eat. What a gem! We were... More

Title says it all. Great atmosphere, service can be a little iffy. Not overly warm and can take forever to complete simple requests.

The restaurant is very warm and welcoming. Semih the owner greeted us when we walked in and gave us a choice of 3 tables. we chose the high top near the end of the bar. Perfect spot, you can see all the patrons and the activity with all the luscious food passing by and the kitchen is open and trust... More

Arrived pretty much by default on a Sunday night at around nine o'clock. Excellent service by the staff and absolutely loved the food. Always a plus when the owner stops by the table to chat. DId not leave hungry. My only regret is that I rarely get to this area and won't get to visit in the near future. Do... More
