We had a wonderful breakfast at Barnies. Our waiter Joshua was so interesting to chat with and provided wonderful service. Our food was delicious - I had the avocado toast with eggs. Only comment I have is we had a weird interaction with an older...man whom sat outside at a cafe table on the side walk - he was very protective of certain tables - so we sat at one of the tables in the cute little alley that ran beside Barnies and still had a lovely experience.More
We were looking for a local coffee shop and not the Starbucks down the street from Barnie’s and found this place. The setup is a bit odd in that you walk through tables to get a to-go order but the actually drinks were great. We...ordered the cappuccino and a latte and they were both great. Would go back for sure for another coffee.More
Ordering an espresso from a coffee expert should suggest that you would get in less time than 5 minutes. Because of their disorganised order line, I had to wait more than 10 minutes for a simple double « doppio » Maybe because it’s doing so well...
A group of friends called in for coffee and a tea. Wow excellent service, by far the best coffee I’ve had in years, mine was an Americano, our group also agreed their cappuccino, and lattes were great too. Unfortunately they were out of baked goods...but I had a bagel with salmon which was perfectly presented! Great service too and a lovely courtyard location, made this a real treat.More
First time in Winter Park, stopped for a coffee and lunch. Good selection of breakfast and lunch items. Flat bread was lovely and so was the veggie breakfast. Espresso coffee left on the side too long before serving and not to our taste. Service otherwise...was very good. Would come backMore

A must for coffee or their gourmet brunch if you go to the winter park area. The tables in the back patio with the fountain on a side are the perfect setting. Excellent service too.
My wife and I love coffee, so when we moved here, we made a point of scoping out as many coffee places as we could. What we love about Barnie's is that they get the balance consistently right with the coffee, keeping the acidity in...check while not losing brightness and flavor. They succeed where some of the other highly rated places I have seen on TripAdvisor come up short. I particularly enjoy the Honduran single origin as a pour over. Having been to Honduras and enjoyed coffee right after it was roasted, this is as close to that experience as I have had back home. The food is good, but it's a bit pricey -- must be those Park Ave commercial rents. But I don't go here for the food.More
Establishment offers excellent beverages. Wonderful breakfast, brunch, or lunch in a casual atmosphere with both indoor/outdoor tables. Service times vary.
We had a pleasant visit once we were seated. It began to rain so the customers sitting outside decided to all move inside. There was one customer alone sitting at a table for four using a computer. The waitress said it was okay that one...person occupies a table while others were looking for tables. The customer had gone outside to use his phone leaving his computer occupying the table. Oh well. We aren't accustomed to that I guess. Otherwise, the food was good. Our waitress was nice. It is a coffee shop so if you are looking for a quiet place, I would look at the other nearby restaurants.More
