The food is consistently better than what you will find in Texas or New Mexico as well as the price. Service is good and kind of has a down home neighborly feel.

We have eaten here several times the past 5-6 years when in town for the races. Four of us went on the a Thur night with fantastic Margaritas. Great service and friendly. Burritos, Tacos and Enchiladas are all great. The fried ice cream is different than what we are used too, but was also good, even if did not have... More
What a great little place to take a date!!!! There is only one word, Fresh!! The food is very very good. The top shelf Margherita is lethal. Woo boy!! The restaurant truly is a wonderful little place, almost a hole in the wall, but that is the charm of this place. Okay, tonight, you are looking for a place to... More
Monterrey has the best home made salsa around which is complimentary. The hand made guacamole is incredible (ask for extra lime wedges tho maybe) and they have some terrific new dishes on the menu. Best of all, the service is incredible and usually extremely quick even when busy. Don't think I've been to a better authentic Mexican place anywhere. Recommend... More
Monterrey is by far the best restaurant in the Braselton area. The food was very good and the General Manager, Sergio Davalos, was excellent. We were lucky to find it through Trip Advisor and we appreciate the information. Anytime we're in the area, we'll stop there. Just tell Sergio that his Man from Alabama enjoyed his Hospitality. Thanks, A.C. Nunn

Once getting the bill we discovered the error. Manager was very rude, refusing at first to adjust the price. After much haggling on our... More
I stopped here for lunch on my way to Atlanta. I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the people and the good food. This is a very nice place and I will come back to it again during my travels to the area.
This is my go-to Mexican place. The salsa is good and hot, the food is yummy. They have a buffet on Sunday that is delicious. The managers are super and the staff is friendly. You won't be disappointed.
Inexpensive, fast, tasty Mexican food. Good margaritas and pretty good salsa. Can't go wrong with this local spot.
