I had dinner with a party of 20 to begin a weekend of wedding celebration. The staff were courteous and patient. They did not hurry us at all. The food was wonderful! The restaurant was eclectic and very cool place! Will return!

A string of odd experiences leads me to only rate 3/5 stars. First, we showed up on time for our reservation, but still had to wait to be seated. Then they chose to seat us in the corner between two HUGE groups (the rest of the area was open). Needless to say, very loud and hard to have a conversation.... More

The Corkscrew has a unique dining area in the basement - the site of Dahlonega's former jail cells. One cell is converted to a wine cellar. I had bacon wrapped dates (excellent) and sriracha chicken dip (good, but spicier than I prefer). Service was great, especially considering that I was tucked away downstairs and around the corner, but I did... More

We were disappointed in our meal. We had eaten at this restaurant on previous trips and all of us were looking forward to it. It was not the same. My filet mignon was tender but not tasty. My friends had spinach salads. The menu advertised them as having cheese, pecans and fruit. Those items were hard to find in the... More

While this place has a cool looking feel and vibe and a great location, and unique food we weren't really that impressed. To me it seemed a little overpriced for the small dishes. We did get to taste some pretty cool things. We went there for dinner and the press way back in the corner off to the side where... More

Had appetizers and drinks in the lounge on at Friday at 5:30pm. Requested to eat outside in the back, but staff said, no, that we should go to the lounge for Tapas. So inside we went, even though it was a lovely Spring early evening and we preferred to sit outside. The interiors colors were depressing, Rooms are awkward at... More

The quality of the food was very poor considering the price. We had duck and pork chops that were both over cooked. Would not go back.

Booked a reservation for a 40th anniversary celebration for friends. Not only was there no one at the reception desk when we enter...had to call into the kitchen area 3x before a guy came out and said we should go outside and downstairs. Our first hint that there would be substandard food.... they wearer out of several things on the... More

Lots of hidden gems on the menu. Wide selection of small plates and full dinners, and of course a great wine list. A little pricey but a good value. Brittany was great--great service, knowledgeable about the menu, and just the right amount of attention. Great live music, too--set the mood without being loud or intrusive. Definitely will be back the... More

I can only base this review off of my one visit. I ordered the French Toast....it was okay. The spiced cream cheese was a nice addition.....my pecans were a little more than roasted....but the apples were really good. Friend ordered the same thing and for some reason she didn't have not one piece of pecan. The wait staff fixed it... More
