9 guys sitting on the patio on a perfect spring/summer evening. Great beer selection, our servers were on top of it. Almost everyone that ordered food got fish and chips, which looked great. I got the Shepherd Pie and it was delicious.

On the downside arrived at 12 noon to make sure we didn't miss out on the roast to discover the roast wasn't available to 1pm. However it had a good vibe and we enjoyed the irish breakfast and the fish and chips. Everything tasted excellent and will definitely be back for the roast! The beer batter on the fish and... More

I come to meet friends primarily on Tuesday evenings for the music. The music is fabulous. Service is always great. The menu provides a wide range of choices and beverages. The burgers are great but they still have a way to improve the fries and sauteed brussel sprouts.

My wife and I went here on a Saturday night. Few people were there. Looks like an Irish pub, smells like an Irish pub. Surprised there was no corned beef and cabbage on the menu, or Lamb. The waitress was friendly. Beer was cold and tasty. They clean their draft lines. Food was nothing to write home about, but I... More

Great place to eat, drink and enjoy the crowds. We had a family meal there are everyone enjoyed it. The beer was cold, and plentiful. Great varieties both Irish and US. Some local brands as well. The staff very casual, but attentive. My wife had the burger, huge and very tasty. The fries, WOW!!!! We will be back, as soon... More

My daughter lives in Decatur and we visit regularly. We have never been to Marlay House and we had heard it was good from her neighbor. We enjoyed ourselves completely. We had our two grandchildren with us and our daughter. The Irish Pub atmosphere was perfect and the food and service was great as well. We all enjoyed our meals... More

We love this place so much that we've started coming here weekly. It's a beautiful building, amazing food and it's not over priced like half of Decatur. Can't go wrong with the Marlay House!

This a great Decatur hangout. Local brews and microbrews are in a constant rotation. The food is great. I recommend the fried Brussel spouts which are a unique treat, and worth the up-charge. A replica of Irish and British pubs, this restaurant has a great outdoor and indoor dinning atmosphere.

Service was great but the fish & chips, so so. Oil fried in was obviously old consequently the fish & fries tasted almost burnt.
