We had lunch here and the place was beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. The staff was nice and attentative. I had a salmon BLT on a brioche bun. The salmon tasted just OK. They had a couple of decent beers. I wished I had tried the wings.
We dined here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was about 3/4 full. We were immediately seated and our order was taken promptly. From there the experience went downhill. We had several members of the staff come by to check on us, but it took over 1 hour to get French onion soup and Caesar salads. Before we had... More
Went here with a group of friends: A great happy hour, the food and service was outstanding. Jeffery the manager welcome everyone. Our group was 25 and all different orders, everyone food arrived at the same time.
The Waterside has been a Lake Oconee favorite for many years. It was closed over a year ago. Now reopened with an expanded bar area, we were all excited. We recently had lunch at the bar and loved th salads with shrimp add ons and the burgers were very good also. This is a great place to eat by the lake and pool and they serve up a nice variety of beers on tap!
We had a very nice lunch with great views of the lake. Salad was excellent, burger was very good. As always the Chef came out and ask if everything was to our liking. We viewed the new dinner menus and it looked great. Only been open a week but the crowds are back. Sorry Chef Schmidt is gone!
This is one of our favorite places to eat on Friday nights during warm weather. Live entertainment on Friday nights makes this a great place to enjoy dinner and a view of beautiful Lake Oconee.
You get what you pay for at this upscale place. The lake view is magnificent, the tables offer great views yet give you the feeling of being catered exclusively to. The menu is somewhat limited, but you are bound to find something for your liking. This is a good place to have your "special occasion"with your partner.
We had a party of 12 with 7:30 reservations on veranda. Entrees arrived at 8:45. Two plates were delivered to wrong diner, which resulted in 1 being sent back. Another pasta entree did not arrive as described ( it contained shrimp and diner has allergy). So two diners had to watch everyone else eat and wait on new meals. Waiter... More
