The staff were all so pleasant and jolly and the food was amazing but every so often I would see a man pull the wee girls aside (I'm assuming he's the manager) pointing the finger at them and in there faces..I find this despicable and really disgusting if this what it is like everyday I really don't know why them... We have been a number of times. Each time is different, staff nice but busy and to the point. Food is good but could perhaps be better presented. Good value though and healthy portions.

The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and good food. The roast dinners are so good, as are the Christmas dinners served at that time of year. I've visited various times and the waitresses/waiters are very friendly. However, more than once I've overheard a man who I presume to be the manager talk to his employees in a manner which was... About 20 of us arrived at 2pm for lunch. We joined many other families there for the same reason. We were quickly pointed to our table and offered refreshemnts. Waiting staff all very happy, smiling and helpful. Room was highly decorated as can be seen in photographs. Tables very well presented. They even had a 'bouncy castle' for the kids.A... More

We arrived here for a family function in April. We were a large party and on arrival the tables were not ready due to other functions taking place and a severe shortage of experienced staff. When we were finally seated (about an hour late) we received very poor service throughout, having to ask time and time again for simple things... More

I've been here for dinner before with my family and the meal was nice. However twice I've been here for lunch and both times the food hasn't been great and the staff on my recent visit a few weeks ago weren't at all that friendly didn't feel as though we were wanted there. The food is very bland and too... More

Thought for some time that this place has been cheating its customers with frozen food masquerading as 'fresh, home produced' gastro food. Today proved that this is true and it will be our last visit! The roast beef lunch was definitely produced from a 'Caterers' Pack', possibly Brake Brothers. The chef had merely cut open the plastic wrapping, heated it... More

called in for lunch today--passing on business--staff made us feel like we were a nusience--one sent us upstairs--then had to go looking for menus--when the waiter arrived he flew through the specials--we had to ask him to repeat what he said twice more before we could decipher it--he really wasn't interested--the waitress who served the food really needs to smile--a... Went here for lunch for our wedding anniversary, we weren't disappointed, atmosphere was great, family friendly with the restaurant decorated for easter, menu was extensive, we both went for turkey and ham dinner, which was served hot and very tasty, staff very friendly and took time to chat to our two year old and made us feel very welcome, will... As soon as we viewed the Wild Duck, we knew it was going to be our wedding venue – the room is absolutely stunning and totally unique. We were shown around by Eileen who was relaxed, engaging and knowledgeable; and it was her person-centred attitude that sealed the deal for us! We held our wedding here in March 2017 and... More
