The service was excellent! When we walked into the Resturant, we saw these HUGE HOMEMADE turnovers! I started to forget the menu, and order the turnover! The entrees were OK. They were certainly OK. My husband and i asked our waitress to heat up our apple turnover, and it was yummy.

I live recently moved to the area and wanted to try out the local cuisine... I was a little sketchy about this place because of it's location, it's next to a gas station and is right off of the expressway. Some may think it's a great location because I am sure they get a ton of business from travelers. To... More

We have been going to Frank's at the Old Mill for a few years and very much like that. We had heard that there was a sister restaurant to it in Palmetto. We were surprised to see where it was (behind a gas station). Honestly, we probably would not have went in if we didn't know it was related to... More

A friend from Peachtree City suggested we meet here on my way down I-85. I usually trust his judgement and he knows I have an on-going quest to find the great hidden gems. This one did not disappoint. At first glance you think you're entering yet another gas station/convenience store village, but the long line of American flags leading up... More

We stopped in this past Saturday, not thinking about the Valentine's weekend. The places was packed but we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The server was taking care of quite a few tables bit didn't slight us in the process and we never felt rushed. The food was prepared as ordered and served hot. The... More

We waited 25 minutes, had to stand in a cramped lobby. We were not even greeted with a hello, by a hostess with a sloppy appearance and no smile. Assigned a table outside in adjacent building with a floor on nearly 15 degree slant. Of course the tables and chairs matched the slanted floor angle. The chairs were wobbling enough... More

Who would have thought that a restaurant sandwiched between two service stations could be this good? Frank's did not disappoint. My husband had the grilled grouper with sauted veggies..wonderful. My friend had the lasagna..outstanding...and I had the Marsala chicken...excellent. We loved their house dressing and dessert was the Lemoncello cake...so good! Do not let setting or location deter your visit.

There is never a time that you aren't greeted and catered to at this restaurant. Ive visited with my father and brought my husband today for lunch. According to him we are no longer going to olive garden for dinner when we can come here. The food is amazing. The cakes are a bit pricey though. 3 desserts ended up... More
