Coconut Thai is located in a strip mall tucked way in the back. The food was scrumptious. We had dinner and the portions were quite large. The staff was extremely attentive and the chef came out and introduced herself. I would absolutely recommend this establishment.

Was sent here by a local. Told it was run by a Thai family that had ties to a Thai restaurant in Atlanta. Well I had coconut soup that was bland and so so. Also the beef salad that was thrown I the garbage after 2 bites. Lastly a curry dish that was all coconut milk and sauce no substance... More

This is so disappointing to hear, Tgruszka, given how much we pride ourselves on our bold flavors and careful execution on all our dishes. It's not quite clear what you didn't like about the beef salad, but I'm surprised by your description of the curry and coconut soup. It sounds like you caught us on a rare off day, and... More

This was once one of the best Thai restaurants I had ever visited-- including visits to Thai restaurants in large U.S. cities and abroad. However, somewhat recently it changed ownership and at least some of the dishes have totally changed. I was hoping that my first disappointment there was just a fluke, but I've tried it three times since, and... More

There's no higher compliment than being someone's favorite restaurant, Chuck, and I'm so sorry to hear that we haven't provided the consistently excellent experiences during your more recent visits. All changes have been made with the attempt to keep what people have always loved and make improvements where necessary, and I'm sorry that hasn't come across. We appreciate your thoughtful... More

Tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Fair Rd. (behind Wendy's). Really good original Thai food. Owner will visit your table to check on you and answer questions about the food.

Coconuts has very good food, a nice comfortable atmosphere and friendly service. I had the sea bass and my husband had cashew chicken. Both dishes were very good.

Coconut Thai Cuisine is a store-front restaurant in a shopping strip in Statesboro, GA My family visited Coconut Thai to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Georgia Southern University. Coconuts was the first Thai restaurant I ever tried. The staff are very welcoming and prompt! The stir fried vegetables with pork is one of my go to dishes. The crispy pork is also very tasty!
