The place is clean and the Hibachi chefs are very talented. Excellent sushi. We always ask for a special server named Ryan. He is always pleasant and helpful toward both young and old. He makes the dining experience special. The food is great from the menu as well.

Shogun's does a great job with their sushi. I've been to every restaurant in Statesboro that serves sushi and Shogun has the freshest fish and best quality, despite having a limited selection of different types of sushi (which is common for ALL sushi places in Statesboro; example: no sea urchin or abalone). Shogun's Habachi fried rice can be excessively salty,... More

Absolutely love shogun! It is always amazing and one of our favorite date night dinner spots! The plating is always beautiful and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic! They also offer the cook in front of you dinning as well and my kids always enjoy that!!

This is by far my favorite place to get sushi in Statesboro. The restaurant is decent on the inside and does have the setup where you can watch and have a little show of them cooking hibachi. You can also never go wrong with the chicken fried rice. I always have leftovers for my lunch the next day.

Good food! The staff was friendly. The location is older, but in good shape. Our filet was cooked at the perfect temperature.

We eat here regularly... at least once a week and are never disappointed. The atmosphere is family oriented and the food is always delicious. The shrimp sauce us the best!

Who can resist loving a meal prepared before your eyes and listening to every sizzle. And speaking of eyes, no one in our group of 20 suffered any singed eyebrows during the cooking of the meal. For a dinner celebrating a college graduation, the setting was perfect. The staff was responsive and carefully explained the choices from salads to entrees.... More

Face it, Statesboro is not the place to go for sushi. But, if you're having a craving, this is your best bet. The setting is very pleasant and service is good and friendly. They do a very good seaweed salad and some decent rolls. The sushi menu is limited, but relatively fresh. I'm a tuna fan and they do have... More

The atmosphere was regular. The wait staff needs to improve. We were given food without any silver, so I had to go grab one from one of the stations. We got food for the kid first and then ours, we had to remind the waiter that we needed silver. The waiter was polite, but not attentive. It was our first... More

I'm not surprised to find a sushi restaurant in most places, but I am surprised to find a Japanese Hibachi restaurant in a town of Statesboro's size. Happily surprised. Upon arriving there was a crowd and we were worried that we'd have to go elsewhere for our dinner. The sushi side of the restaurant only had two diners, so everyone... More
