What can I say, where else can you get seafood in a mobile home, pay in the kitchen, bring your own booze, and get a stellar country seafood meal. Flounder is on point as is the crab au gratin. Just don't get in a hurry they are on "Bluff Time" if you are looking for a fast meal your feelings... More

OMG, I don't know where to start with my praise of this family owned restaurant, it was far beyond fantastic! We went with a bunch of friends, close to 20 of us, this Veterans day. All vets, and family members of veterans. The food was fantastic, to be served some of the best oyster stew I've ever eaten, and my boyfriend... More

This seafood restaurant is a must if you are in the Sapelo River area. The food is fresh, tasty & not too expensive. Their fried oysters are outstanding. They prepare the food as ordered, so it might take a little longer. ,

The title used be posted on their menu, get the shrimp, you will not be disappointed, the scallops tasted like iodine this time, but the shrimp, oysters and fish were excellent.

My wife ordered fried shrimp which was perfectly cooked, fresh and a huge portion. I had the crab au graten. Although it tasted fine it was a little light on crab an heavy on filler. Overall great, enjoyable evening. Very friendly staff and be prepared to go right into the kitchen to pay the cook when you're done. Although the... More

While staying at Shellman Bluff on a fishing vacation we dined at Speed's Kitchen two times. The staff was delightful and accommodating. The atmosphere was "down home" and casual. The food was good. The prices were more than reasonable. We left full and happy with our experience at this small-town restaurant.

Excellent seafood! It may be a little difficult to find and it is a little out of the way, but well worth the effort. Some items take a little longer to prepare, but they tell you that ahead of time. I have found everything on the menu to be very good.

So the name is the opposite of this place...it is not in any way "Speedy". With that in mind, the food is completely worth the wait. The scallops were the best I have ever had. Juicy, moist...just amazing. The crab au gratin was tasty too. Our waitress was really great, making sure we had enough drinks, coleslaw, and crackers while... More
