We had high expectations based on a friend's review. Unfortunately, however, it was a disappointment. Plastic cutlery, dirty tables, and slow service (there were only two other occupied tables). Also, from our table, I could see the "cooks" placing plate after plate into overhead microwaves to bring food to temp.

Within walking distance of the VHS/VSU football stadium. I like it for lunch and a pregame meal. I have been here a few times. Everyone that has gone with me has liked it also. Food is spicy which I love.

This is a Spanish Store and Restaurant so you can get the best of both worlds. We have eaten at their restaurant several times, the rates are reasonable and they make your dish fresh on the spot and are willing to substitute things so you can have a delicious vegan meal if you like. They make thick home made tortillas... More

We skipped our favorite Mexican restaurant to try this one based on a friend's recommendation. I wish we wouldn't have. Food was good and portions were big, except the tacos are on the small side. Service was awful! We were told half an hour after we ordered that they were out of sauce because they already started cleaning up for... More

My friends told my about a nice Mexican restaurant just down the street. As I walked in I saw it was a store, supermercado ( super market). There were a few tables in the back and a nice patio. Seemed a tad rustic So we sat and a very nice waitress answered all our questions about the menu, took our... More

AYCE taco truck style tacos every Wednesday is the best deal in town! Authentic tacos in your choice of steak, chicken, and about 4 other things I'm not brave enough to try. Get them with grilled onions and a jalapeño pepper on the side. Mmmmm

They sold me molded tamales. Growing 2 inched long on my tamales. I tried calling the health dept., but they are listed as a grocery store and aren't subject to audits.

Had an al pastor burrito. The meat was so full of gristle that I literally had to cover the inedible pieces with a napkin. It was not one or two pieces but every piece. Disappointing is understatement. Many good reviews is the reason I went. Go figure.

The 4 of us ate and split a dessert for $31. The food was flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. It is just an open patio at the side of a grocery store, but we would go back.

Located inside of a Hispanic grocery store. This is a small yet clean establishment, with good and friendly service. The food was really good with fresh ingredients; and an authentic homemade taste. Much different from the usually chain restaurants at nearly the same price.
