Crofter [krawf-ter, krof-] /ˈkrɒftƧ/ A crofter is the person who occupies and works a small landholding known as a croft. Had a fantastic time at cofter Keningau. The latte was filled with coffee aroma and laced with nice crema. Will definitely visit again.

The coffee and chocolate mud was nice. I like how my coffee was made. Typical coffee house which you can find in the city but rare in Keningau town!..

The coffee was not what I wished for. They used to serve very nice pies, but I do not know why they stopped providing it long ago. I still visit since its the only cafe around the area. Hope they really keep up the standard...

Good for relaxation and catch up. We were passing by from Tenom and had a good tea break with nice pastry. Expectations is not high after all we are all on holiday and staying in local cabins.

Sorry for a not so great review. Environment is good but the seats (clothed) is heavily stained and coffee I ordered is not what I hoped for. A little too diluted (coffee flavored water for a long black) and the cake is funnily a cross between thin layer of cake & jelly (Chocolate tea cake). Though that's the only thing I've ordered, not really my taste. Can't comment the rest and one shouldn't judge this place based on my single comment. However, being the only barista cafe in town, I really don't have much of a choice. If I do, this shop wouldn't survive very long. Pls muscle up! You can do it...

I met my client in this cafe few months back and this is definitely the best choice I made.
As you noticed that, there are alot of "kopitiam" selling those famous "pao" or we call it bun. But hardly you can find a cafe like this with cozy environment and most importantly to me is the aircond. I believe this is the only cafe serve variety choice of cakes and drink.
If you're driving by using Kimanis road, this cafe is located on your left side before you reaching Keningau old town. Quite a strategic location and you can get car park easily.
Try this cafe and write your feedback here. Cheers! 😊

Such a nice place for me to chill out with friends & satisfy my coffee's addiction. The ambient inside cafe quite cool too, with the musics in background (The content of music is updated always). Trust me, if you don't want to go to Kopitiam, then Crofter definitely a place for you in Keningau. :)

Crofter Cafe is probably one of the best cafe in town. The place is pointed accurately in google map and there are plenty of parking space in front. Staff was nice and well explained foods they have sold.
The are quite plenty of choice for food and drinks in a small town like this. I have spent sometimes chit chatting with my friends before i move on to Kota Kinabalu and surprisingly is a nice place to be. There are no luxurious and fancy stuff, furniture and fitting around. But this might be the place that customers looking for which is less noise and peace of mind. I did not even raise my voice to talk with my friends unlike cafes in urban area.
Overall for what being offered, it is not the best cafe in the world but it is one of the best cafe at Keningau that you can looking for.

Crofter Cafe is where I go for my coffee fix whenever I visit my hometown Keningau. It is a great hidden gem with everything from good cakes, pastries, and great espresso coffee, to Insta-worthy decor. Their Iced Cabayero is my go-to favourite. They have a great selection of cabinet sweet treats which are different almost every time I visit. If you are ever visiting Keningau, or due for a pit stop to the next town, be sure to stop by Crofter!
