My husband and I have eaten several times at Century House and have always been very happy. Tonight was a big letdown. My husband ordered the Reubin and was satisfied with his meal. I ordered the Ahi burger. The waiter asked me how I wanted it and I ordered it medium rare. The first dish was blackened, so I sent... More

My friend and I ate here for lunch during the week and it was outstanding. We ordered several small plates and they were delicious, especially the fried risotto balls. I'll definitely be back!

Meal of grilled Beeler's pork chop was excellent. Waiter was attentive and helpful and answered all our questions regarding various menu items. Full bar. Good selection of red and white wines and craft and bottled beers. Service was good, could have been better.

I'm glad I gave this restaurant another chance. The food was very good. I had the Caesar salad and the shrimp appetizer was split among the table. The shrimp were very, very good. I would come back just for the shrimp. Our server was excellent dispite The busy lunch crowd. I wish I had gotten her name, I would give... More

I have been there twice. Lunch was ok, I had a Reuben. Dinner was not ok. Severely overpriced. Shrimps and grits are much better across the road at Reel. Foie gras tasted strange, I asked where it was produced or imported. Turns out it was home made. I guess they put too much butter in there. Needless to say it... More

Fantastic food, service and surroundings. Parking is the only real challenge but it is Woodstock. Everything I have ever had at Century House is great - and I typically am not a Brussels sprout lover - but WOW! Their sprouts make me second think why I never liked them. Try it out. Don't think you will be disappointed.

Amazing sandwich! Had not been to downtown Woodstock in a while... but will definitely be back soon because if this restaurant! Quaint, historic and charming dining room. Farm to table ingredients. We had the Prime Rib Dip... and OH MY GOODNESS... OUTSTANDING! Loved the side salad! Can't go wrong stopping here for a bite to eat! A must!!

First of all the town of Woodstock will charm you. Add to that a tavern with a real chef and you have a gem. The food was delicious and well priced. The service was great. Our server kept our drinks full without interjecting herself into our group discussion. I would go out of my way to eat there again. The... More

Love Gustavo (waiter), Gracie (bartender), John (owner) and Daniel (the Chef) - food is excellent, service is exceptional, and the experience is one which we enjoy and will continue to enjoy for the years to come!
