The coffee is amazing!!! The food portions were generous. The taste was delicious! We were a party of 6 adults and each breakfast came out hot. I had the quiche with a side of potatoes and fruit. My husband had a breakfast sandwich which was huge. Our group shared one of their gigantic cinnamon rolls....have to try...so good!! The atmosphere... More

Great modern cafe food, great coffee and friendly service. Some desserts are a bit 'heavy', but overall they have great food and beverages. The staff is always friendly. The only thing I would change is the seating/waiting area. Its a little awkward when waiting and the seating isn't ideal, but I guess too much business isn't a bad thing though.

The food and coffee at Big City Coffee are outstanding, but with its limited space, you may end up sharing tables with others—a perfect opportunity to make a few new friends. One thing for sure is, you'll never have to eat alone. Generous portions of comfort foods, and you may find some new combos to tickle your taste buds. Healthy... More

If you are within 200 miles of Boise, make this a place to go to for Coffee, desserts, food and the very cool funky vibe. Old farmer-ish signs remind one of days long gone, in the a cool part o the so-called Linen District, community table inside and outside (YES, we sat outside in the sun on Feb 10th -... More

The food is good, the coffee is good, the day-old pastries do not hold up, in my opinion. The atmosphere is cozy but can be loud.

Absolutely incredible breakfast served in what can only be described as enormous portions. Everything was fresh, and I mean EVERYTHING! I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a bowl of fruit. The bagel was hot out of the oven and covered in the perfect layer of homemade cream cheese. The bowl of fruit was gigantic and so succulent and... More

We are visiting family in Idaho and stopped here for lunch since it is my dad's favorite spot. They had breakfast all day! I had the Green Acres which is choice of meat with steamed eggs and avocado. It tasted great. The portions were big with most breakfast entrees coming with fruit and toast. Be prepared to grab a table... More

Tried to get in on Saturday am at 11:00 but the place was hopelessly crowded. Looks to be popular with the locals. You stand in line to order and they bring the food out. We bagged it and came back early on Sunday. Good call that. Got the tamale breakfast which was pretty good, my wife got the half order... More

I'm not sure which I look forward to more, the coffee, the huge breakfasts, or the king sized pastries and desserts. This place has a great coffee house vibe, as proven by the always busy dining area on weekend mornings. The servers are energetic and outgoing, keeping up with the orders no matter how busy. The food is great, the... More
