Really, come for the coffee. Most of the coffee I get seems acrid and bitter. The coffee here was smooth and easy. I liked it. Give it a try. As for the rest of the menu there is everything from pancakes, to chicken fried steak. I had biscuits and gravy on the first visit. The staff is attentive and if... More

The food and service were both excellent. Good sized portions and extensive selection. I thought it was on the expensive side, but the place is always packed, so I guess I'm in the minority not wanting to pay $15 for breakfast.

We ordered the Stuffed French Toast and the Blueberry Pancakes at 1:55PM. The staff was so friendly even 5 minutes before they closed. The French Toast and Pancakes were the best we have ever tasted. We went back again the next week and got the Chicken Fried Steak and a corn beef hash. Both were very good but we will... More

First, you will probably drive right by this place if you are looking for big signs! This is a hole in the wall and that is part of the character! The food is excellent! The potatoes are the best I have ever had anywhere! Small red potatoes w garlic, for me hooray...no bell peppers in them! Guess you can ask... More

Items from the bakery/to-go section were just average. Not worth paying for parking downtown. Wished we had gone elsewhere.

I rarely visit Boise without breakfast here. The hash browns may be the world's best. The fruit bowl is a meal in its self. Don't miss breakfast here. They open at 6:30. I suggest arriving early to avoid the line.

I love the breakfast potatoes. I shared an order and regretted not just ordering my own. They were that good.

Plan on waiting to get in to Goldy's. However, the food is worth the wait. We always look forward to a fine breakfast.

My daughter & I went here for a late breakfast on a Monday. There was a 20 minute wait and the place was packed. This is a diner-like atmosphere where the waitstaff are efficient and brisk. The coffee was great!!! There was a great selection for breakfast and we chose eggs benedict and hash...both dishes were really good. Other diners... More

My daughter is teaching internationally and only gets to Boise every two years. The # 1 place she wants to go for breakfast is Goldy's. The employees alway come up and greet her saying that they have missed her and are glad to see her. The food is great and so is the service.
