Quaint little place, underground in the Boise Hyde Park area. Food good except the rice with the Burrito I had tasted like cardboard, not homemade, bean's w/the Burrito where great, not so much was the bean dip. Bean dip runny & rather bland tasting, really more like what's actually served in Mexico...Food here more authentic, don't expect Tex-Mex. Since Underground... More

The salsa is good but other food was just okay and a bit runny. The outside dining is not pleasant underground.

A friend of mine and I meet here for lunch from time to time and the food is good. The main serving area is downstairs, where it is pretty dark. My cheese enchilada was good and my friends spinach and mushroom enchildada was good-she really liked it. Good ice tea. In summer you can sit upstairs and watch people. This... More

We went out for a casual Mexican dinner. When we ordered dinner we also ordered off the menu a "Margarita" for my wife and a beer for myself. The Margarita was missing something, the tequila. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that Margaritas were non-alcoholic. When I asked our server, she said she wasn't sure. It was only when... More

We have eaten at their other location in downtown Boise and thought it was better but this location is good as well. These two places are still better Mexican Food than most in the Boise area. Good service and friendly staff along with good food makes this stop worthwhile!

Located in the center of Hyde Park, the Boise Idaho historic district, Casa Mexico can be found down a flight of stairs tucked into the basement of one of the historic buildings of the area. In the 100+ degree heat wave that was stalking Boise, Casa was cool as a cucumber and as inviting as a walk on the beach... More

Service was excellent, food was good( enchiladas and tacos) and prices reasonable. Parking in rear is one car in front of the other....so dont park too close to the pkg bumpers if you park in front....The next person may park too close behind you...Would recommend this place, and will go again. It is kid friendly. Kids menu on Sunday $1.99 per meal.

Boise has a very good selection of Mexican restaurants, and several are close to my home, but this is the one I go back to most often because of the service, value, and cozy atmosphere. Expect a large portion to arrive before you expect it to. I have tried many dishes and like them all, especially the enchiladas and chile... More
