We ate at Stella’s 5-6 times while staying in mulu. The food was brilliant every time and service was great! The chicken curry and roti were our favourites. Highly recommend.

Great food authentic environment

A great find next to the Marriott Hotel, authentic and delicious home cooked food to be highly recommended. The roti with homemade pineapple jam was wonderful

Excellent Local Cafe

Definitely recommended. We visited this excellent little cafe a couple times while staying at the Mulu Marriott. It is located on the opposite river bank to the resort, just over the bridge. There is a great small menu of local food. We tucked into delights...like Nasi Lemak, Chicken Curry, roti, braised bamboo shoots and beer. We previously visited Mulu 27 years ago and reminisced with the proprietor about how things had changed. On our last visit, this place was just a simple bar then, run by her husband. It was lovely to see that the family business was still open.More

cheap and good; friendly Ms Angeline owner

a budget friendly and delicious cafe to have lunch and breakfast. Skip the expensive Marriott cafe and eat here instead. Be sure to order the nasi lemak... so yummy. HOT TIP: if you're eating here multiple times in a week, say hi to Ms Angeline,...the owner. You can even pre-order dishes like fish (if there's any stock) and have her catch/cook this in advance for you.More
