We revisited Bardenay after a three year lapse. We went during happy hour and sampled a few of their happy hour tapas at a reduced rate. Everything was good and portion sizes were appropriate but nothing was exceptional. Good food, pretty good prices and we...More

We had dinner here and we were very happy. The view was beautiful on the deck and the server was quick and attentive. The food was great and inexpensive. They have their own distillery so there were many drinks you could try on the menu!

Walking distance from our hotel (Hampton Inn) and a very nice experience. We were seated right away on their spacious patio on a pleasant evening with a great view of a little lake and the forest beyond. The service was very good and the food...More

First visit: decent food, good server, nice cocktails, all pretty expensively priced, but wonderful patio views. Second visit: waitstaff so horrible, we left after 20 minutes without ever getting so much as a menu or a glass of water. Will not return

This was our second time stopping over in Coeur D'Alene at the end of our vacation. We were just as pleased with Bardenay as we were the first time. The layout is is bright and open. It does get a bit loud but that adds...More

Salmon filet excellent! Drinks are awesome and the view relaxing. Chips and salsa quite tasty. Mojito was very refreshing.

We were with friends in this great river area and decided to try Bardenay. It was bustling with the gorgeous day and because of the area. We sat at the bar and had great drinks and food. Lively atmosphere!

The restaurant is nice, casual with a wonderful view of a small lake area. I have been many times and the food has always been good. The one problem I have encountered is service. Sometimes it is good and other times it isn't. The last...More

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the very first time. We split the club Bardenay sandwich which was plenty for the two of us. The sandwich was made with all fresh ingredients including the turkey breast. Service at this restaurant was slow. I...More

Established in 1999. With three locations in Boise, Eagle and Coeur d'Alene that capture the spirit of Idaho and the Northwest, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery is a cornerstone of Idaho's restaurant and bar industry. The original establishment is located in a once empty warehouse on the Historic Basque Block in downtown Boise, Idaho. On April 25th, 2000, history was made when we served the first cocktail to included spirits distilled in a restaurant in the US. As the nation's first restaurant distillery, Bardenay has set an industry precedent as the first full service restaurant and bar with the ability to create handcrafted liquor on-site. Our distillers are happy to give tours as time allows. Please ask your server if you are interested in a closer look at our operations. p.s. We are only allowed to sell our fine spirits by the drink. If you would like to purchase a bottle, you may do so at many of our state liquor stores.
