First time here today and I must say that this place lives up to its reputation. I had a sandwich and a bowl of soup. Both were some of the best I've ever had. The only negative with this places is the hours. They are only open for lunch Monday through Friday, so get here for lunch sometime!

One of my favorite lunch places. All fresh salads and foods. Everything is homemade, salads & soups made fresh daily. Sandwiches are super yummy. A must go to for lunch. They are only open for lunch weekdays.

Really good fresh Latin food. The coffe is fantastic. The only drawback is they are only open Monday through Friday until 2PM.

A hidden gem and worth every penny if not more. Definitely give them a try and order their tea. It is SO good. Never had something I didn't like.

I read a few reviews, and it sounded too good to be true... but alas, they have my vote! Upon entry, an enticing aroma of fresh, sassy foods and a cozy atmosphere. They showcased several fresh salads representing several Latin regions, as well as a menu for items they would later bring out in a colorful array of deliciousness. The... More

Wow! Good things come from small storefronts tucked into strip malls. Soup, salad and sandwiches at Cafe Carambola combined fresh ingredients in novel delicious ways. This place is a gem.

Wished I'd taken a picture of the creative salads. The husband was the server and the wife the main chef. Such excellence is flavors. We had a seafood salad with South of the border seasonings and watermelon. Everything was complimentary. The soup same way. Very complementary flavors excellent excellent excellent.

We moved here a year ago, and this has become our favorite restaurant for great food! The menu offerings are always fresh and flavorful with wholesome, healthy ingredients! I have never been disappointed with my lunch at this restaurant. Very bright cheerful seating area, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. They are open limited hours for lunch only... More

We've had to travel through Coeur d'Alene several times this year and have now eaten at Carambola three times, with each visit confirming our initial impression: everything available in delicious. I had the Cuban sandwich this weekend and it was easily the best sandwich I've ever had. The salads are fantastic as well. The owners are also friendly without being... More
