Always fresh and always great service!!! Place is a little tight, but summer is coming and sitting outside helps remedy that feeling of being in a tight place. You cannot go wrong here

I used to live in Japan and this place is as good as it gets in the U.S.A. The staff magnifies the experience, they are really good. How does the staff remember every detail of a dinner 3 weeks ago? I can hardly remember my name.

We have been coming to this restaurant for over ten years and in Coeur d' Alene when someone says sushi Syringa is at the top of the list. On our last visit we enjoyed the tempura appetizer, Godzilla roll and saki. Everything on the menu is delicious and we have tried it all at one time or another. They are... More

Syringa has a great atmosphere- it's a cozy little place with always-changing art on the walls. I would imagine most people come here for the sushi (and a friend visiting from the coast made me bring him back twice he liked it so much)! but I come for the great service and vegan options. The tofu bento box at lunch... More

Great sushi and good food. We like eating here and enjoy the local artists they feature on the walls.

My wife and I recently had a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service was quick and friendly. Our server had no problems making recommendations, of which were based on our tastes. The sushi was very well prepared and tasted very fresh (and delicious!). I will definitely be returning. It's a popular spot, so... More

The place was recommend by a local and we were not disappointed. The sushi tastes fresh and loved the variety and take on certain classics.

Called in here for lunch with my sister, while visiting from the UK. She has been here on a number of occasions, and recommended the place for the food, welcome and ambience. We arrived just before opening at 11:30am, and within 20 minutes many of the tables were occupied, which is always a good sign. I ordered the miso soup,... More

Our first visit to Syringa was fantastic. The food was amazing. We had the pot stickers (pork), and 3 rolls, including the jalapeno inspired one which was spicy and excellent. Very flavorful and artfully done sushi, but there's a good selection of cooked seafood too.
