We ate at this restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast, I believe, was included with the hotel. Both were amazing. I had salmon. I am from Sitka, Alaska and was impressed with the freshness. The staff was amazing.

We have been coming here for years but for the first time, after we dined, my wife and I looked at each other and thought....boring. We had trout, their famous fried chicken, filet mignon and a kids pizza (which I tried and it was truly...More

I'll be honest, I only ate two meals here, but both were delicious and the wine list is good. I ordered Pink Trout on my first visit, and it was nicely prepared, accompanied by roast vegetables. The grill serves giant popovers with honey butter at...More

The garden setting was lovely, and the food great. My wife had the filet mignon and I had Wienerschnitzel, and they were both delicious.

Lately they've been inconsistent with everything- food, and service! It began when they expanded their dining area and perhaps the kitchen just can't keep up. The atmosphere is great, particularly if you can sit outside in the summer. I'll give them another try, but they're...More

We used to visit fairly regularly - then we had bad experiences twice in a row. Both time we contacted the management team - in neither case did they respond. We've moved on -

Description
Restaurant owners and esteemed locals Bob and Jolie Dunn, formerly of Warm Springs Ranch Restaurant and The Bigwood Grill, have created an environment at the Knob Hill Inn that is casual and comfortable, yet sophisticated. Distinctively Northwest cuisine, with a variety of American and European classics, makes for anticipated highlights such as Idaho Ruby Red Rainbow Trout, prime steaks, local lamb, wild game and "Felix's" Calamari.Chef Mark "Sparky" Anderson produces a simple yet refined menu with a Rocky Mountain influence using the highest quality meats, poultry, and seafood available. Every evening The Grill also offers creative specials to round out a menu sure to please Sun Valley guests and locals alike. Our newly renovated Sun Valley hot spot focuses on natural materials highlighted by a custom chandelier, sandblasted tree branches and rich earth tones that complement the barrel-vaulted ceiling. The private Fireplace Room allows for additional dining for individuals or a group at a grand communal table made of reclaimed wood, and access to an outdoor patio. The summer space is spectacular with a covered and heated terrace and lawn seating with views to the north… one of the best outdoor spots in the valley.
