I would rate the Chapala locations as my #3 Mexican restaurant in the valley. This location is the one we usually eat at. The food is always above average and the service is always very good. Chips and salsa are always good as are the Margaritas.

Great Eats here! We tried it for the first time and enjoyed it very much. Not only was the food awesome, the staff was friendly and timely! Can't ask for anything more :-) I loved that they had hot bean dip along with salsa for their fresh cripsy chips :-) I ordered a bowl of their Tortilla Soup. It had... More

Great food and service. Been coming for years. The tortilla soup on a cold day like today is perfect.

Those who know the area may say that's faint praise, but the food here is very good. Salsa and chips are as good as the best we've had in California, where there is great real Mexican food on every street corner, it seems. This food is very authentic, much better than the average in this area. Portions are large, prices... More

Staff kinds of tosses the menus to you and walks away. Thought it was a fluke but they did it two other times we went. Seems like you are an inconvenience to them to serve you. Food is only average fare but not very reliable. It can be just awful, too, though. We won't be back. Bleh!

Love to eat here with my fiends. Lunch time favorite for us. Although we love Mexican food. This one is above the rest

I enjoyed the chips & salsa with bean dip too! There is a different flavoring to this food than what I'm used to. It was delicious. I ordered a chicken taco salad. The chicken was flavored not just cooked & shredded. The burrito was big enough for 2 people. The menu is huge. It was hard to choose! I would... More

The food was excellent. The service was equally great. I do wish they brought individual bowls of salsa; however it is delicious. They also serve refried beans with the chips & salsa.

No where will you be so warmly greeted by the staff and management. We have eaten here for years! The menu and prices are reasonable and you will not go away hungry. Try the cold Shrimp Cocktail for the largest Cocktail you have ever eaten. It has 35 shrimps in it! That is amazing and wonderful.

Pork Carnitas are not authentic. Plate looked like beef fajitas, not soft and juicy like it is supposed to be cooked. I have never seen pork carnitas look like this. Was like they took a pork chop, sliced it up and fried it. Tortillas are microwaved and often fall apart but you can ask them to cook tortillas over stove.... More
