I'm a retired chef, and have a vacation place nearby and we simply have not visited the grill before. I'm very happy that we finally did. We just had burgers, but they were impeccably cooked, perfect medium rare, and I don't just mean red in the middle, I mean perfectly pink all the way through. You don't see this very... More

Better than average food cooked over hardwood. A bit of a wait but that's ok if it's good food prepared fresh. Nice place in Priest River.

My wife and I went to this restaurant and had a terrible experience. The male server, who actually never wrote a thing down, had trouble remember what we ordered. For instance he forgot if we ordered soup or salad. We reminded him that we both ordered soup. We both had Prime Rib and it was very tough. A lot of... More

This restaurant has fairly nice ambiance for the area. We have really tried to like it, but our experience with the quality of food has been so consistent that we just don't want to go there any more. Priest River could really use at least one quality restaurant! This one has the prominent location, but . . .

Mark the Chef knows how to cook ! This is not a fast food Restaurant. His Clam chowder is over the top yummy, we even take some home for tomorrow, if it lasts that long ! I love his Coconut Prawns, the Cobb, and Cezar Salads are also delicious. We have enjoyed the Summertime Fish Buffet as well....the Salmon was... More

Great atmosphere, nice staff, and very stylish. We were very surprised to find such a classy and urban restaurant in such a small town. The food was delicious and offered many options. My husband and kids all enjoyed their meals too. Check it out for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We stopped by this place as we were hungry and it was there. What a gem we found, we had the chicken strips in two different sauces and they were delicious. The food was so good we drove back again later in the week to have the grilled prime rib it was so tender it melted in your mouth and... More

We had a terrible experience! The service was terrible, very forgetful and slow. The food took forever to come out and once it did it was lukewarm. It was not good food, we were a party of 7 and no one ate their entire meal. We were charged for items that we did not get. Due to the terrible experience... More

I've eaten at the Hardwood Grill several times and each time I was disappointed. The building is clean and nicely done up but that is all. The food can be good but that just depends on if you want to wait forever. Our server was sweet but could not deliver the drinks after she took the order because she was... More

We were staying next door at the Eagle's Nest Motel and decided to give this place a try for dinner. Overall we had a great dining experience. Our water, Bill was very nice and informative about the menu items and went out of his way to help find things for our babies that were not on the menu like bananas.... More
