We haven't been to a Frontier Pies in many years. From the outside we weren't sure what were getting in to. And the interior could definitely use some updating. However, the food was much better than we thought it would be. It was fresh and hot. The service was very good and very friendly. Would definitely eat there again.

When we found this restaurant, we actually thought it was closed. It needs a bit of an exterior facelift. The menu is like a lot of other family chain restaurants. We ordered from the senior menu and chose grilled salmon and lemon pepper chicken. The food was basic, but good. The cornbread was very good. We thought we should try... More

We used to go to Frontier Pies in Sandy, Utah... until they closed the place several years ago. We missed it. Well, we dropped in to see if the Rexburg store was good. We were totally surprised. The food is very good, the service is too. We had a large family meal and went away with left-overs. We were pleased.... More

I'd never had fry bread, and decided to try the fry bread taco. Was pretty darn good, and the smaller portion was enormous; I'd hate to see what the larger portion looks like! Drinks come in a comically large mason jar; refills practically unnecessary. Cornbread is sweet and delicious. Service was excellent! Only let down for me was the pie:... More

Placed an order over the phone. I'd never been there but it was recommended by the hotel. The guy on the phone was extremely patient and helpful. The food was decent, not great but needed a little seasoning. The pie was really good. Overall I would go back but bring a little seasoning with me lol

My husband and I ate here 10 years ago and were wowed by how delicious the Chicken Pot Pie was. We drove out of our way to eat here this September and marveled again how delicious it was. The flakiest, best crust we have ever had. The filling is the perfect comfort food. We finished the meal with a delicious... More

Frontier pies was a great restaurant in the 80's. This place now was run down and the food was like you were eating at grandmas nursing home. Skip it!

We went as a large group of about 40 people after a wedding. The food was good and the service was prompt. The dining room was a rustic decor that was well done. They did a vet goof job with our large group.

The food is good. We were there for breakfast and didn't have pie but I'd love to try some. Jolene and Katie treated us very well. Service with a smile and they provided some local knowledge that we needed as we were traveling to Yellowstone that day. Give it a try, they'll treat you well.

Take a jaunt a little further off the highway for this spot. There's a sign off Rte 20 but you need to go past the national chains. Within walking distance of the car dealerships to eat while you wait for service. Hearty meals, including Indian tacos, an unexpected treat. And of course the pies....enjoyed the Chocolate Peanut Butter. Very welcoming,... More
