One of the healthiest places to eat in Sandpoint with one of the few remaining artsy bookstore cafes in the USA.

We all piled into the minivan for a Saturday breakfast on our most recent visit to Idaho. That totals six passengers, so we were crowded and I was hungry. I thought it odd that my wife and I were told to keep the destination secret from our 13 year old granddaughter. "It's a surprise" they said. OK, I can keep... More

I'm a local here in Sandpoint and have eaten at Common Knowledge plenty! I just wanted to write a review for all visiting so they know how wonderful this gem is! Everything is organic, fresh and filling! Bang for your buck for sure! All sauces delightfully unique and made from scratch! Mostly vegan/vegetarian/gf. Great coffee/espresso too! I've lived and ate... More

Vegetarian delight from smoothies, salads and even gluten free dishes. The Tempeh salad was fresh and delicious and the wild coho salmon curry was tasty good. The fish was cooked perfectly. They even had great espresso. Wish we had more time to visit the bookstore.

This place is a one-of-a-kind place. Not only is it a fantastic used book store, there is an amazing vegetarian cafe, too! The food is sublime (my favorite is the breakfast pesto scramble - mmmmm). Many kinds of tea, homemade limeade, soups, vegan brownies and more. They usually have lots of local art on the walls and in the warmer... More

the cafe is located in a bookstore. It has a new-age, hippie vibe, but don't be fooled into thinking its food is plain. Their salads, soups and sandwiches are top-rate and the food is organic. The sesame dressing is the best that I've tasted. Sometimes the wait can be a little long, but the food is worth it!

Delicious and friendly. A good menu that we would like to see grow. Great atmosphere and terrific concept. Very child friendly with outdoor seating as well. Great addition to Sandpoint's fare.
