I’ve eaten here many a times and the food has always been good. I would say anything on the menu or board inside for specials is a good selection. Enjoy your meal.

Nice Lithuanian cuisine. There is a live band with five members every other week. They were there today September 6th 2017. The music is polka's and old songs like "Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue." I like the barbecue ribs with dumplings and sauerkraut. The...More
When visiting Chicago this has become a regular stop. I have had both lunch and dinner here and have never been disappointed. The chicken soup here which is like a chicken noodle soup is excellent. The Lithuanian sausage dinner is excellent as well!

Mabenka is an inexpensive Polish restaurant. Back in the day, the food was really good (assuming you like Polish food). The last time I was there, I was very disappointed. Did not enjoy the pierogi, and the potato pancakes were pretty, pretty bad.

Friendly and polite service with great tasting food. Good location and parking. All meal times are convenient with diversified menus. Booths and tables available for family groups and parties.
I love the soups. Don't bother with a menu, order directly from the ever changing 'specials' white board hanging in the middle of the restaurant. Nothing fancy here. This is a high value for your dollar comfort food place. Enter hungry and leave full.
