It took a while but I really liked what I got. I got the green tea smoothie with bubbles. My friend got a plain bubble tea and it was good too.

I used to come here often 2 years ago, but have not visited for a while. The place remains very good - frozen yogurt options are tasty and diverse. Toppings are fresh and varied. I also like the new chairs upstairs- very comfy.

We were checking out the U of I campus and happened upon this store. It was average yogurt shop. They did have a wide variety of toppings, but he yogurt was average.

Not bad. The kids love to make their own sundaes, but two can easily cost $14. Ours did and mine was on the small side.

I like the concept of filling a cup full of frozen yogurt then adding toppings yourself. Once they weigh it and charge it to you it hurts the ol' wallet. Taste great though!

Cocomero opened back in 2009 as far as I remember. And froyo craze was probably catching up. And I guess this was only specialist place in the town. It had a good range of flavors and variety of toppings! We used to spend lots of time at this place, chatting, completing assignments at times. You're almost free to spend as... More

I usually like froyo and have tried it out at a variety of places across the world. This is not one of the more memorable ones. The froyo is pretty icy and it freezes your tongue so that you can barely taste (or feel) anything. While they do have good variety, I thought it was more run of the mill... More

It's self-serve frozen yogurt. Is this a new concept to you? If so, welcome to America! It loses a star for not handing out tiny cups to sample the flavors. The guy at the counter said the U of I students tend to abuse the privilege. So thanks, Thieving Illini! Toppings were fresh and the yogurt was tasty. It was... More

I went to Cocomero once, and will never return. The texture, taste, and consistency of their so-called "froyo" was pretty disgusting. It was very icy, and not "yogurt-y" enough for my liking. They did, however, have a good selection of toppings- which I had to drown my froyo in to make it more tolerable. Do not recommend it.

Cocomero is probably the best frozen yogurt place I've been to. It beats the likes of the well-known Pinkberry and Red Mango, and even the lesser known Tutti Frutti and Sweet Frog. In fact, I don't think I can accurately call this cafe a frozen yogurt place anymore. In addition to the pay-by-weight frozen yogurt plus toppings feature, Cocomero offers... More
