It's around the corner from two other Rick Bayless restaurants but it is just right if you are in a hurry, haven't made a reservation or want to pick something up on the fly. The tocos are always good and I enjoyed the Cuban at...More

Ok, there's good and there's good. Then there's Rick Bayless, winner of Top Chef Masters good. Rick Bayless is kind of the king, quite frankly. He opened Xoco, which is right next to Frontera Grill, to introduce the world to Mexican Street Food. What a...More

My husband and I had a great breakfast at Xoco on our recent trip to Chicago. I had the Scrambled Egg Enchiladas and my husband had the Huevos Rancheros. I'm usually not a huge scrambled egg fan, but on the enchiladas they were delicious! The...More

Got churro's and flan to go. Tiny little place and definitely felt in the way waiting for our order. The churro's were very good. The flan had a cake-like base that tasted like gingerbread. I liked it my son did not. If in the area...More

We began with the Tlayuda, and immediately knew this was going to be an amazing meal. Tlayuda is like a giant tostada and the best black bean nachos you ever ate had a love child. The Shortrib Red Chile Soup was excellent, especially the broth....More

They do things a little different here: You wait in line and order your food, pay and then you are seated to which your food arrives shortly afterwards. We got the almost naked guacamole (appetizer) - delicious and had just enough spiciness/flavor. The chips were...More

A great spot to eat if you want to try Mexican food. Love the homemade salsas. I highly recommend that if you go to try one of the specials of the day, you will not be disappointed.

This is a great spot to get a quick bite mind you it runs on the spicy side for taste. It is little cramped inside but people leave fairly quickly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Tasty and quickly served Mexican food / subs soups. Not a fast-food type place though. A bit pricey. 13 dollars for a sub (a good one, enough for a meal).

Yes, their French Toast is yumm! Good quality is pretty good, although I didn't think much of their Huevos Rancheros... My teenagers loved the brunch items. Slight Mexican tilt, though.
