We recently lunched at Triple Crown. While the service was good, the food was just so-so. We ordered from the dim sum, lunch, and dinner menus. The dim sum items were the tastiest and freshest. The other dishes were rather gloppy and tasteless. We won't be going back.

My son and I stopped in Chinatown for a lunch. Close to the train on Wentworth. Restaurant is upstairs , look up for the signage. They offer a nice selection of Dim Sum. Before you order, look on the table card, both sides, they offer daily specials at a better price. I noticed them too late and had already placed... More

I went late afternoon on a Monday. You order off a dim sum menu with pictures and they make everything fresh. The different dishes were very good to excellent. I also had the Triple Crown special crispy fried thin noodles with seafood, which was fantastic. It came with big shrimp, scallops, fish, straw mushrooms and baby bok choy. It was... More

Stopped in here on a whim. The atmosphere was friendly, the food was great. The servers were very helpful as we tried to decide which options to try. We loved everything!

On another part of my adventure in Chicago I dined at Triple Crown Restaurant in Chinatown Chicago. The restaurant itself was very neat and looked very well kept. As we sat down I let my friends (who are native to Chicago) order the food...and it was delicious! Each item was full of its own unique flavor my absolute favorites were... More

Located on the second second floor, the restaurant is hugh. This was our first visit in four years. We had nine people in our party and did not have to wait. We enjoyed their Dim Sum because of the tasty choices and the large number of items (over 70). The items that were really outstanding included the green beans, pot... More

For someone coming from Toronto, we found the food and service exceeding our expectations. This is definitely a spot we would visit when we are back in the city.

I was at this restaurant with a group of folks from a university with which I volunteer. We were in Chicago for a conference. There were several of us and a couple of folks had some food allergies/intolerances. The wait staff at the Triple Crown were very helpful in picking out some items that would suit all of us. All... I was a bit skeptical about going to a dim sum restaurant for breakfast, especially since I was going by myself. My previous experience of dim sum had involved wait staff pushing little trays with various offerings, and I was concerned there would be too much lag time between the offerings I would want. Triple Crown had really good reviews,... More

Chinatown
Chinatown may be one of Chicago’s smallest neighborhoods geographically, but it's big on character, colors, sights, sounds, and flavors. In this South Side neighborhood, you’ll find authentic Chinese restaurants dotting the length of Wentworth Avenue.
