I have been delaying writing a review for this establishment as I selfishly wanted to keep this place all for myself. I have eaten here 10+ times and I have had an A+ experience each and every time. The bone marrow and deviled egg is...More

The Purple Pig served up rich and mouth watering Mediterranean fare. They have an extensive wine list and high-end food choices. Just be aware they have limited seating; we ended up at a family style table.

This restaurant serves some of the best food in Chicago. We took the waiters suggestion and ordered bone marrow, quail eggs, and a few other dishes. All was outstanding. I would definitely go there again.

This place was recommended by friends and it lived up to expectations. The two of us were lucky enough to be seated in the covered outdoor area at a communal table. That meant we got to taste some of their plates, too! We had 4...More

Visiting Chicago for the past 5 years I have wanted to visit the Purple Pig and finally was able to wait through the long wait-list. I am so glad I did. I have been attracted by the slogan on the sign "Cheese, Wine and Swine",...More

Located in a tony part of downtown the menu had to be created in a different state where cannabis is legal. Usually crowded and bustling, this is one our Chicago casual favorites. The puff fried beef tendons are airy light but pack a whopping punch...More

Nice place for groups. Maybe a bit loud for romantic meal. Alcohol and food is reasonably priced. Order more than 1 dish per person-remember tapas style. Food is yummy from appetizers to entree. Disappointed is no reservation, thus had to wait for seats :( Make...More

We sat at the bar just in front of the kitchen, it was amazing to watch the chefs working. Very tasty food, small portions. Nice place, kind of noisy but nice. Not for kids. The pork Milanese and the gnocchi were delicious!

Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
