We spent an afternoon at Navy Pier and had lunch here. Great location and food was good. My co-worker had an entire drink spilled on her by a busboy who didn't even notify our waiter. Then we had to tell the waiter that she needed another drink and to please bring us extra napkins as it was all over her,... More

We had lunch here with a large group on a Friday night. We split our group up between several tables, which would have been fine had our tables not been on opposite sides of a major walk way. The food was good, with enough variety to keep everyone satisfied.

Don't be surprised that the food is only average. It's a tavern. The atmosphere more than made up for the food. Come here to enjoy a cold brew and appetizers after enjoying Navy Pier and before you go to your dinner spot. Try Harry Caray's Steakhouse if you want a good meal.

We had lunch at Harry Caray's and it was excellent. Friendly waiter and very attentive. I had the Tavern burger and it was cooked to perfection. Would recommend this place in heartbeat.

We were highly disappointed and felt this place was overrated. Ambience - excellent, as the memorabilia was great. However, the food was average, not kid friendly (child menu was fairly priced, but the portions were adult "sized"). The restaurant appeared to be busy, but not busy enough for poor attention by the Server.

After taking a water cruise we were very thirsty. Have been to the Italian one he has near Dearborn ave. Had a local craft beer, wife had a Moscow mule and we shared the chili and pretzels with beer cheese. The chili was excellent and the pretzels were warm and soft. A nice watering hole with lots of pictures of... More

On a recent visit to Chicago we found ourselves at Navy Pier at lunchtime. So many choice for lunch but we chose Harry Caray's Tavern. It was a great choice. My margarita pizza was really great. We all loved the appetizers and our drinks were great. Super lunch!

Definitely should have a reservation! We were able to sit down right away and the food came super fast. Everything was very good. The staff was great - nice, fun and attentive. This is a good place for kids too because the menu isn't as fancy as the other Harry Caray's restaurants

Had to take our friend here from Paris to our famous Navy Pier. Went to the Stained Glass Museum, The Art Expo, The Ferris Wheel, then some good food at Harry Caray's--very good Spinach Dip and Calamari!

The food was delivered so fast! The staff, especially the hostess, was beyond friendly! I bought an awesome shirt from their gift shop and it rocks!

Staying in Streeterville

Neighbourhood Profile
Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities. You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you can also visit other popular attractions there such as the Chicago Children’s Museum and the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Off the pier you’ll find more restaurants from low-cost pubs to high-end establishments. Arts and culture aficionados should be sure not to miss the Museum of Contemporary Art.
