It's an odd place, decorated like a rainforest with moving animals and 'rainstorms' every 20 minuets. The food is reasonable, a little pricey but nice enough. You really go for the decoration rather than the food. Going on my own as a 20+ year old...More

The restaurant was ok. It is not ideal for a quiet date night as there are many parents that like to bring their children here. The food was ok but I would consider it a bit over priced. I would not visit here again just...More

At there around 7pm and were told it's a hour wait. We looked around the gift shop and took some photos outside. Ended up waiting only about a half hour. Kids loved all the animals and everything on the walls. Sucks that they got rid...More

Rainforest Cafe is a fun restaurant to eat with kids. We took grandkids and they really enjoyed their time there. I feel the food was over priced, however, it was good.

This is a great place to celebrate something special if you plan to go all out. The gimmicks are there with a price in the name of light up drinks or ones in a huge frog cup that becomes toy box fodder later. The meal...More

Very interesting interieur mimicking an African rain forest with the noises and stuff. Having a nice dinner we could see at least three family birthdays with cakes and singing waiters and waitresses dressed as jungle explorers. The kinds seemed to like it. A bit dark...More

I didn't initially plan on visiting this restaurant, but my 3 year old saw the giant froggy on the top of the building and that was that. Definitely geared for families with kids, the interior decor is lively, with animatronic animals and a little "thunderstorm"....More

After a long day of sightseeing and the museum with a 3 yr. old we were starving when we arrived at the Rainforest Cafe. I was accosted with the hard sell to purchase a Landry's Select Card .Even though I said we were exhausted and...More

The food selection was very limited. All items are very pricey. The food was gross. We waited to be seated for about 20 mins when there was no one in the restaurant. We had someone stop by our table to take pictures of us and...More

The store was very entertaining and had some fun momentos, but the food was not worth the price. Maybe if you had little kids, the experience would be worth the extra money, but with older kids, not so much.

We always use valet parking when we go to this location, it's pricier than paying to park yourself but quite a bit easier when you have little kids (especially if the weather is bad).

Yes - the food is predictably overpriced - be careful when you order. Skip the expensive soft drinks and you'll save a fortune. All of these "theme" restaurants are more expensive than most places, but it isn't prohibitive... More

We also took a cab, but parking in downtown Chicago is pricey. I would plan on $15.
