We found it difficult to categorize this restaurant, there are some definite French overtones, but I guess that the simple category would be European rather than any simple single country identity. We tried Naha after dining in its sister restaurant Brindille and whilst we preferred the French style of Brindille, this is not to criticize Naha. It boils down to... More

Great atmosphere. Lovely flavours for us, but the portions were too big (in they missed the refined delicate presentation of Europe). The wine list was good. We are used to great amuse bouche & palette cleaners....there were none. We would go back, the cooking is fresh & imaginative & service was good.

Now that Chicago is on the Michelin red guide for foodies we tried one to compare with their counterparts in Europe. Answer? Not even close. Naha is a very good restaurant but lacks in food sophistication, in elaboration and presentation. Their morel Tarte Tatin appetizer was somewhat bland and the pastry was soggy. Their seared foie gras was good but... More

Came as a single while in Chicago for business, and it was one of the highlights of my trip. I chose the 5 course tasting menu and let Chef Nahabedian surprise me. The Oyster starter was awesome, and the kholrabi soup was very good. The scallops, however, stole the show for the starters. The first bite gave me that special... More

Was looking forward to the experience but was extremely disappointed. our waiter was very inattentive. protracted time periods for him showing at the table even to take the first drink order. we were waiting without any wine or cocktail list, so he brings ONE and about 1 minute later returns for the drink order but we both did not even... This restaurant is very good, but I am not sure it is worth the cost. Michelin underprices it by $50 per person. At the Michelin rate, it is a bargain. For what I paid - $150, including a drink, a glass of wine, 3 courses and a decent tip - it is over-priced. I live near New York, so this... More

We dined at Naha on a Monday night, and the restaurant was about half full. I'm guessing that Monday is not their night. The service was fine, but not as attentive as you might expect at a Michelin one-star restaurant. Dishes sat for just a bit too long, for example. The meal was fine. I had the mushroom custard and... I want to thank the staff and the chef for wonderful food and a peaceful atmosphere. The food, drinks and desserts were exquisite. On a Saturday, without reservations they took my friend and I in. We were pleasantly surprised. ❤❤️❤ I want to thank the couple sitting next to me for treating me with the wonderful desserts I posted. So... More

Went to Naha for restaurant week and I have to say, I enjoyed all 3 courses, something that does not happen very often. Good ambiance, attentive service and good food

Maybe it's because it is only a brisk 10-block walk from our apartment or maybe it's because of the mixture of American and Mediterranean influences or maybe it's because we enjoy the quiet lunches or maybe it's because I can't resist the wood-grilled ribeye of beef and the walnut Baklava dessert. Maybe that's why my wife and I enjoy our... More
