I don't quite know how it happened but it seems that every few years when I get to see an awesome show downtown Petterino's is where we eat pre or post show. This time I was treating my sister who is a little more of...More

As much as I would like to really like Petterino's, some things give me pause. Being in the middle of the theatre district - Goodman Theatre, next door; Oriental Theatre, a half block away; the Cadillac Theatre & the Chicago Theatre, each about a block...More

No complaints. Table was ready with reservations. Menu had something for everyone. Nothing was a "wow" experience, but it was an easy location heading to the theater.

Petterino's offers prompt service, a standard menu and a convenient downtown location for theater and sightseeing. The seating is comfortable with lots of booths and tablecloths. Good salads, sides and standard American entrees (meat and fish). At one time, Petterino's was a "go to" spot,...More

I was in Chicago last week in the beautiful 80 degree day with seating outdoors, we ordered their famous chicken pot pie. It was a 6 x6 with flaky thin crust. We enjoyed a blueberry mojito which was a signature drink of one of our...More

The food was yummy. But- for the price, I would think my meal would at least include a soup or salad. I'm not a fan of sitting so close to others and it was very busy and loud, but you can expect that anywhere in...More

Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a

your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of
