We had breakfast and coffee - the service was excellent! The food was wonderful! I had the chicken fried steak breakfast special and would highly recommend it. Great place to eat and watch people scurry past on Michigan Avenue.

Good quick stop to eat before or after Joffrey Ballet! Have run into the artistic team before the performance there!
The menu contained a broad variety of offerings, with interesting variations. Everything was good, and at a moderate price.

Stopped in for a simple breakfast and had the eggs bene. Typical American breakfast fare in a very cool old building in a perfect location on Michigan Ave across from Grant Park.
We were staying at a local hotel and the Artist's Cafe was suggested for breakfast. It was delicious and plentiful. I had biscuits smothered in gravy. We enjoyed it so much that we returned with friends the very next day.
